I think it all started with Robert Kraft and his big cable company / TV deal. The rog liked the money and of course the dealings with the big-shot owners so they became "special" friends. Bobby asked and got special treatment for the team and it carried over with coaxing from bobby.

t*mmyb*y is a big part of what's wrong with the NFL. his career is tainted darker than an EMP blackout yet no one cares or did anything about it. I would bet Tampa Bay's air pressure needs to be checked and anything else that ****-er thinks he can get away with.

His entire career has driven many to just ignore the obvious.

I honestly think that is it… i think a couple people are solidly in the know about what really went on and Brady is probably third or fourth in line of that cabal … if he spilt the beans the house of cards comes down and the Rog resigns in shame

Partly but I think it’s mostly that the Pats****** are in a yuge TV market and the league made a lot of money from all the winning for 20 years.
 
We need about 10 James Harrison's attitudes on this team. We also need a mix of TJ WATT & Troy P.'s as well.

ONE last one as well, Ben Roethlisberger's win at all cost's .

dude, i did a dive into that rabbit hole years ago.
kraft had a tv station that he sold just before the CBS Ticket deal was announced. oddly, he was VERY instrumental in getting that done. and since he's been on the board of or slid down and behind the scenes of various entities for Sunday Ticket, Make zero mistake about it - the NFL is making so much revenue from the wheelings and dealings of Robert Kraft. So if it took the league to "allow" his team to win a few trophies for every rich owner to get that much richer, then so be it. They ALL looked the other way while their pockets got deeper and deeper.
 
2025 NFL:

Ref: “Unsportsmanlike penalty on the defense, number XX, Looking menacingly at the Qb … 15 yard penalty, number XX is disqualified from the game and will be executed immediately afterwards
 
i remember when Brady got his knee blown out in the first game of the season (first game?) and missed that entire season, everybody just said this season is over. whoever wins the superbowl, doesn't count, because Brady was injured. I don't remember what season that was. Every announcer, every analyst, etc.... it was just that the golden boy was out.

Was that the start of protecting the QB? Maybe it was Carson Palmer? But I vividly remember Brady getting hurt and it was like the end of NFL football.

NO, that showed how a kid off the street Could come in to that organization and use the "SPYING" system to win. It showed the "system" is how to win games. Ernie ADAMS was their top secret weapon and they sure rode that ****-er to the end. It took getting caught blatantly recording Bungles to get Ernie out off football. That franchise has been more normaL EVER SINCE.

My gosh… we have short memories here… the year after Brady’s knee injury a guy falling down while getting blocked past him brushed two fingers past his leg and Brady literally ran down the ref and bitched until he got a flag… that was the most entitled and incorrect flag in NFL history… this was just regular Bradyesque bullshit lol
