We should try to bring him in. Let Kenny sit and learn for 2 years. Also should try to sign Devin White is free agency.

So that he can become a career backup.
I was all for giving Pickett one more year, but after today I'm starting to believe he hasn't got what it takes.

Yeah, that's what this offense needs next year: an expensive, beat up, 36-year-old quarterback with even less mobility than Kenny. Sounds like a great idea.

The team needs a fresh start with coaches. All of them. Nothing changes until then. We're over a decade here. Everything else until then just delays the progress toward a championship level team again.

They're far away from it. And no qb is going to fix these fatal flaws.

He would go right back on IR within this offense.

The thing is, we will never know what KP8 could have become. You are witnessing before your eyes, the correct way to ruin a young QB.

Salute the nation

The Steelers would be looking at maybe a 13-4 record this season with competent QB play.

With listening to Canada or audibling out of a play at any given moment?

But sure they could have had a better winning record. Still not confident they could do anything in the playoffs with these coaches. An already developed QB has a chance to show better, but I bet the end results would be similar. Playoff futility.

I'm thinking 1-2 TD passes per game and no more than 200 yards passing. Pickett legitimately misses one wide open TD pass a game. For how many close games the Steelers play, that's typically the difference between a win and a loss.

True.

Now what about once the playoffs hit? Firecracker goes off without delivering and comes crashing back to earth?

LOL..........................
