Why does everyone want Kingsbury? He couldnt win w/ his hand picked QB unless you feel that Murray was the problem. His record w/o Murray is not good though. He is not much different than Canada to me. He tried to bring a college offense to the pros and has been really hit and miss.

I was looking at his resume the other day. I didn't lock onto anything that made me take notice. Maybe I am missing something...

IMO---Don't believe he will take a step back professionally.
 
Matt Canada would sure look good as the head coach of the cardinals.
 
People who are critical about names put forward need to put forth their own. And not people already employed at OC or above or pieces of fiction like Munchak or Charlie Batch Kingsbury has track record as an NFL QB, assistant, coordinator and coach. HC and OC are two different things. Assuming they can Canada, I'm at least bringing him in looking at playbook and seeing what he thinks he could do with KP.
 
I would take Jason Garrett over Kingsbury. Garrett wasn't a good HC...but he was always solid as a play caller.

What's bizarre is that the Cardinals thought Kingsbury was good enough, just 10 months ago in March of 2022, to give the guy a 5-year contract extension. $7.5 million per year guaranteed through 2027.

Yeah and they also signed a 5'10 QB to a mega deal. how's that going.

Living in Dallas i can tell you Garrett is horrible. He would fit in here though just perfectly. No game planning for the other team, insists on you should just beat your opponent and not plan for them. When it doesn't work its the players and never him. Doesn't make adjustments and thinks he smarter than he is. I would say the hardest no ever to Mr. Princeton smarter than everyone else Garrett.
 
I like former NFL head coaches on staff, but Kingsbury just does not feel like a fit for the Steelers at all.
