Landry released

I think Baker is killing every WR that goes there. Landry and OBJ wanted out. They have like 20 TE's and some great RB's and that still doesn't help. OBJ looked great when he got out of there and went to the Rams.

What is wrong with the spelling program at tOSU???
Unfortunately for Williams, given the recent history with Bush and Banner, I don't think they take a first-round flyer on a guy with a still-healing ACL injury.
Now, if he falls to 52 (He won't).

After you revelation yesterday...I'm going to take a deep dive on Olave and Wilson. Williams is such a smooth route runner with electric speed and great hands. Barring injury he'd probable be a top 10 pick IMO...

Did he run more than 2 routes at 'Bama? I'm being serious when I ask that. Because one of the (rumored) knocks on him at tOSU was that Wilson, and especially Olave, had more developed route trees. tOSU likes to be able to use their WRs interchangeably to create mismatches and Williams couldn't get all the different routes down. All I can really tell you is that tOSU, like 'Bama, is going to put who they consider the best WRs out there. And for Williams time there, Olave, Wilson, and eventually a Freshman (Jaxon Smith-Njigba) saw the field before he did.

Edit: He did start the last six games of the 2020 season for the Buckeyes. But, Smith-Njigba was eating at his time even then.

I just took a cursory look at Olave route running...

He's slower than Williams but DAYYUMN the kid is a better route runner.

Jameson can run more than two routes and speed cannot be taught. I'm still gonna tout Bama over tOSU here but definitely would take Olave if Williams is gone at 1.20.

But are you "REALLY" touting 'Bama over tOSU with Williams? Seems to me he's a "Crimson Buckeye". :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Wish they'd trade DJ and get rid of those dropsies. WR is still a need for us with Washington leaving.
