With news dropping every few minutes of cuts and trade requests, and a thread already for the QB's, lets get this one rolling.

Christian Kirk is expected to be released.
Tyler Lockett was released
Devante Adams is being released
Cooper Cupp is on the trade block
DK Metcalf has requested a trade and the team is willing to listen to offers.

What would you give up for DK? I'd send them a 2nd rounder for him, him and GP would definitely give DC nightmares, even in our elementary style offense.
 
DK Metcalf is only 27 and has several years left in his prime. He, GP, Wilson, Austin, and a draft pick would make for one heck of an arsenal. Throw in Warren out of the backfield and Muuth and Washington at TE. Fields could do very well in that scenario assuming Tomlin will allow him to throw over the middle.

Cost is always a factor, though.

DK would need to be extended, he's in the last year of his extension and carrying a 30m cap hit. That could drive down the draft capital cost a bit.
 
go get DK. then pound Warren up the middle. sign a big back and have him go off-tackle. then throw 98% of your throws to the sidelines.

If we only had HOF players at every single position and all the backups too, oh and all the PS should be HOF level too... then we could maybe win a playoff game...
 
If we got Metcalf I’d be morbidly curious if Tomlin would allow the offense to be opened up or not…he probably wouldn’t… except on 3rd and 1

That being said go get him! 2nd rounder sounds fair, maybe a bit more too

Sign them all!!!!!!

OR.....

I would give up easily 4 or 5 1st round picks for Metcalf. Can you actually imagine what he could do in our offense? I know we don't have a QB at the moment. And our last two 1st round picks are questionable at the tackle spots. The middle of the field is off limits....Warren is a ? at RB perhaps.....but Metcalf probably would get 200 catches and 2000 easily. Maybe 25 or 30 TD's.

You know what else would be a nightmare......unless they are winning and being used properly in their mind. That would create a nightmare too.

For some reason I think you have been ingesting that British Peyote a little bit heavy. Keep in mind that theirs is considered imitation as opposed to the real deal, O’l west kind.

Tomlin runs a very conservative offense so you have Metcalf a little over estimated, more like 167 catches for 1823 yards and 21 TD add the 4 rushing TD as well.
