The stillers might win 3 games (Falcons, Saints, Panthers), but I think they lose 'em all. Some will be close as Kenny matures and learns the offense more, (what offense there is), and learns from his mistakes, but I think 1-16 is possible. This team is that bad. How do yinz think this team does the rest of the season?

8-8-1. Never a losing season. Greatest coach ever.

Realistically we should be oh Fer right now. We got really lucky to get the win against cinci in a strange game. I still think we get to 5-12. Mikey T's first losing season. Without Ben we see all Tomlins flaws crystal clear.

I am seeing 5 wins on the season 6 if Tua is out for Miami.

Too many variables to really tell, namely, what is Tomlin actually going to do? Bench Najee to let him heal and play Warren? If Watt returns in week 10 that defense gives us a real shot to win games again.

Bridgewater will play and the Stillers lose to Miami, beat the Saints, lose a close one to Indy, Falcons just seems to beat/Tie us for some damn reason, and they win a close one in Carolina.

3-13-1 and a top 5 pick in the draft awaits us

It's going to be tough sledding even with Watt back. If Canaduh learns how to run an offense, that sure would help, or if Ben had a direct line into Kenny's helmet to tell him when to go rogue and run his own plays. Realistically, this team doesn't get anywhere past 6 wins this year and I can easily see only 3 or 4 wins. If they lose the next 3 or even 2 of 3 heading into the bye week, it will be tough to turn the sled around. They will be on a downhill slope to the bottom of the league for the first time in decades. Yet, Tomlin's seat still will only be room temperature.

I'm trying to figure out what anyone has seen from this team that makes them think the Steelers will beat anyone left on the schedule much less 3 or 4 teams. I can see the Steelers beating the Panthers. That's about the only team in the NFL that's a bigger dumpster fire than the Steelers. Getting Watt back will certainly help, provided he is 100%, but I don't know if it helps THAT much. I don't know. Just not a lot to be optimistic about at the moment.

We might not lose in that bye week.

THIS was well worth the egg up my nose from laughing, thank you

Truth in the words.

I picked the season before it started at 12-5 (y optimism is visible).

We will be lucky to get that reversed 5-12

Obviously I want way better and hope like hell this team can overachiever and over come the coaching, but sadly I think that tape is out.

Geez you think people would get it by now… if we have a magnificent start to a season, the back eight will be miserable, if we suck starting the season, all that talent will eventually find its groove in the stretch… 8-8-1 or 9-7 barely missing the playoffs… Tomlin the mediocre stays the course… media stories abound about how this was his best coaching season… you know because he took a talented team and squandered it for a third of the season or so

I dunno Sarge, the Saints are pretty damn bad.

Watt is supposed to return for last 9 games, I’ll guess the Steelers manage to win 4 of those, end the season 5-12.

We’ve got 4 prime time night games for the whole NFL fans to watch. All my so called ***- hole friends come out of the woodwork to harass me about the Steelers. Something to look forward to.

I thought before the season 9-8 but now thinking 5-12.
Kenny will continue his progress and win a few games here but just a lack of talent, coaching, scheme, and overall attitude will do us in.
I think the failures can be attributed to some bad high draft picks the last several years, poor coordinators, position coaches, poor scheme on both sides.
Next offseason needs to be a major purge.

I hear yaz on the woodwork / friends. I just tell them that like what ever you or I say here has no bearing on the game. Then I follow up with how relevant has __________ (insert their team name) and they usually shut up. Also relate to how blessed the STEELERS have been the entire time Roethlisberger was here, 18 years and that there is expected transition to new personnel.

Worse case scenario, stoop to thier level and KNOCK them the **** out.!!!!

I’ll have what you’re drinking.

I’m thinking the only shot is against the Panthers and Falcons.

Who knows. When TJ is back they should be able to win some games. But yeah they could be picking number 1 overall too.

We're clearly moving in the wrong direction and have been for some time. No chance of being a contender. Might as well crash hard, make some meaningful changes and get a high draft pick.

I hope like hell there is no intentional tanking to go on. We already have a bad enough culture here than to adopt in tanking and thinking it's ONLY a temporary thing that can be turned on or off at will.

BIG surprise, it can't.

People love it when you lose.

I don't think they need to worry about that. Just keep running the offense they're running and have linebackers cover No.1 receivers while playing zone and it will all take care of itself.

They'll get to find out what kind of men they have when things go bad.
