Mac Jones Requests Trade

Anything to cause disarray for that ****-ing franchise.

The only time I will be neutral to that franchise is when billicheat and kraft are gone.

When I read this I immediately went to Brady's contract wondering if he was eligible to return to NE. Does anyone understand his deal?.He was an 11 million dollar cap hit this year with like a 1.2 base and he is like a 35 million dollar next but there is no base. And then he is like dead cap after that for like 3 years at 10 million per.

It looks like at the beginning of 2021 Brady signed an extension to end of 2022 with three voidable years added on. The future cap hits relate to amortisation of signing bonus and roster bonuses converted to signing bonuses.

He's a free agent once Tampa's playoff run is over, but Tampa has three years of dead money that counts against the cap.

Eligible to return to New England? You actually think he would want to do that? Lol that is absurd. Newsflash: Brady got tired of being under the thumb of that old sourpuss belichick. He leaves, wins another SB with another team, and proves to everyone that NE's successes were much more attributable to him than belichick. There is no way in hell he would go back to play for that coach

There was another article where Jones supposedly went outside the organization for help behind Bill's back. This of course did not go over well. Fans don't seem to like jones and if he and belicheck are not seeing eye to eye then Mac could have requested a trade

So can he void next year or just team cause he looks to be a 35 million dead cap which would be crippling.

Wonder what SF will do next year. Purdy is their 3rd string QB. I would think Jimmy G is gone for cap savings and Purdy moves all the way up to starter.

I think it is a no brainer at this point. But what do I know. Ask Coach he is the resident genius, he could trade Jimmy G even as a free agent for 2 firsts.

Jimmy G is a free agent… he restructured his contract and has a clause that forbids them from franchise tagging him so he is out…
