The word 'man' is being taken out of 19 job titles with the United States Marine Corps, it was reported this week. The news comes months after Defense Secretary Ash Carter ordered the military in December to open all military jobs to women

Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus called in January for a review of Navy and Marine titles.

He has said: 'In the overall scheme, it's a small thing, but I think it's important because it's what sailors and Marines call each other, and words do matter'

Praise be to Allah that they are fixing this atrocity. Oh wait, would Allah approve of the women being in the marines and uncovered.

****, it is hard being a liberal. I'm going back to thinking.

But if they are allowing transgerndered troops, then what are the female to male going to be called? Infantrytrannies?

They should just mandate 2 levels of PT Standards.

Pass the higher one, you get to be in that club regardless of sex. If you pass the lower, you get to be in that club regardless of sex. Don't pass either, out the door you go.

Navy looks to remove 'man' from all job titles

It could spell the end of time-honored Navy titles like fireman and seaman, hospital corpsman, yeoman, airman.

The Navy secretary has ordered the service to review all job titles and consider removing any reference to "man" in them, a move that could force name-changes to nearly two dozen specialties, from airman to yeoman. Navy Secretary Ray Mabus ordered the scrub as the force prepares to open the last remaining billets to women sailors in Marine ground combat elements and the Navy SEALs.

Combat is Darwinian. Only the strong complete the mission, win and survive. Social expirimentation with the Millitary is a bad idea, it will cost lives and possibly the existence of our nation.

Unless your CINC tells you to surrender on purpose to make him look better

Navy commander surrendered to Iran to protect Obama’s nuclear deal

The Navy commander in charge of a pair of patrol boats captured by Iranian forces in January opted to surrender rather than fight back, citing later fears that a confrontation could endanger the Obama administration’s efforts to lock in a deal with Tehran on its nuclear program.

In an interview with investigators looking into the January incident, the commander said he surrendered the vessels after calculating that his sailors would not be in danger because Iran “wants this nuke deal to go through.”

The interview was one of several stunning revelations in the often scathing 170-page report compiled by Navy investigators, chronicling the chain of events that led to the apprehension and detention of the 10 American sailors by the Iranian military after a pair of U.S. patrol boats drifted into the country’s sovereign waters in the Persian Gulf.

. Social experimentation with the Military is a bad idea, it will cost lives and possibly the existence of our nation.

This among many ideas emanating from our community organizer and his minions shows how much he respects the military and their role.

I've never heard of that dude before, Steel Chip....

Why do you have to remove the word man?

Why not just have two titles...i.e..Infantryman and Infantrywoman?

Afterall....That's the reality of the situation..
