Might as well think about next week

gloom and doom never gets me anywhere. I'll watch and see if there is life and just maybe a spark might get eR done.

No Watt, No Haden, No Dotson probably no Ben. **** even Loudermilk isn't playing. You can write this one off.

Haden dotson loudermilk, no problem.

Maybe Taco has a day. The sacks are what we miss most from watt. If butler has a brain he runs some ILB stunts.
Minkah out is huge. But we have some experience behind him. But to me this is the biggest loss.
Ben. Mason will do fine.

With who? Our ILBs are either gun shy, slow to react or easily blocked. Folks talking about OL, DL, etc. for next draft. I think ILB is easily one of our top needs, if not the top need. Damn I hate seeing Bush's little light weight, pussyfooting *** trotting out on the field representing the great heritage of ILBs that have played for the Steelers.

Weight is not the issue it is height and attitude. Mr. "Jack Spat" played 6'4" 220 and made a rabid junkyard dog look like a pussycat, D. Bush 5'11" 234 is not imposing his will with authority, yet. NFL is looking for a kinder gentler game, not the old Steel Curtain, better turn it up kid and Salute the Nation!

I usually hate to speak in hyperbole ... but in this case I'll make an exception. It doesn't matter how you quantify it, height, weight, era played in ... Bush is playing like he's scared someone is going to take his lunch money. He jogs to contact and tries to arm tackle. He's been slow to react. He's gun shy and has been one of the weakest links of the defense this year. He needs to be replaced next year.

It’s the sign of the times

Pro football in general is not what it used to be. The tradition, history etc is just that now. The league is corporatized now. Money, greed, over saturation and the want to cater to non traditional fans has driven out what made the league great.

It’s still must see tv. But for the hardcore fan, we all know it’s gone downhill. Bush is an example of the era

We'll see. They might want to two TE, extra tackle, FB run run run.

This game, on paper, with so many of our starters out, should be a blowout from the beginning to the end and in all facets of the game. That's why they play the games. Rudolph will throw for 3 TD's and run for another. Najee with notch 2 more TD's. And, Muuuth will get a little redemption with one more TD. Now, the D, somehow needs to step up with their young guns and shut them down. Loudermilk would have been a much better piece to have but Pierre and Norwood can step up. Taco Sunday in place of Watt it will have to be. WE RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeppers, Levon Kirkland, Holmes, Farrior................. to name a few.

I think everybody slightly overlooks the position because the STEELERS spent draft capital to move up to get their # 1 ilb thinking the position is set. Reality is that # 1 is nearing BUST statis, not quite yet but headed in that direction.

Burt Lauten, Steelers PR: "Ben Roethlisberger will be activated to the team’s 53-man roster after passing the NFL’s required COVID-19 protocols. He will fly separately this afternoon from the team’s charter plane to Los Angeles with the expectation of starting Sunday night vs the Chargers."

Kirkland was oversized but moved faster than Bush.
Farrior and Holmes were just ballers and smart as hell at the position.

Larry Foote is a legend at this point too. The legacy is down for the time being

BEN showed negative this morning so he will take JET this afternoon to LA and join team, that's a great help.

Nice. Much better chance. Need some major step up on defense.

I think we play a much better game than most expect for no other reason than a GUT feeling. Our "D" loses a lot without Fitzpatric but I think we can overcome. The chargers have a few missing players as well so there is that.

I think BOSA is still inactive, I may be mistaken on that as I haven't heard / read anything saying he is playing yet.
