If Steelers move on from Arthur Smith and he doesn't land a HC job, there's a great chance he ends up working for Vrabel again.

There's a better chance of Kenny Pickett leading the Eagles to the Super Bowl. Smith won't get no HC job. Vrabel won't win in NE either unless he get a real good OC. This league is all about offense the rules cater to it. Score 24-34 and give up 20 you win! Steelers are way behind the times. Not to hard to see...tune in to any game.

The Titans had one of the highest scoring offenses in the league with Arthur Smith. Vrabel hasn't forgotten that.
I'm not sure we can read too much into Smith's performance late in the season as Steelers OC, considering who he's working for.

This feels like it's happening a year too late. Vrabel was destined to coach there at some point. He better hire a good OC with Drake Maye.
Yeah, I'd rather he was our new HC.

I think Derrick Henry might have been the biggest reason. It wasn't Smith plus that south division was weak.A.Smith sure didn't take our rushing attack any where. I know the line is awful and that's where it all starts. Pink slips are coming hope the Pats take them all.

There are a metric ton on under 40 offensive HC candidates for the steelers to peruse if that ever did become a need... Ben Johnson has dwarfed everyone, but there are some really great guys out there...
Hired a sub 40 year old guy and a true assistant HC to train him. Do what they did with Cowher and Lebeau and hand pick most of his first staff for him

POS Kraft gets rewarded for bad behavior again. No way he fires Mayo unless Vrabel was available and gave the nod. So he discards Mayo like trash, gives a disingenuous "aw shucks this is all on me" speech and then shakes Vrabel's hand before the paint is dry.

Hire Kingsbury or Coen and make them the next coach in waiting. Only way I start gettig serious about it again is if they hire younger, hungry guys.
