Steelers had an interest in him before his draft. Considering our current thin WR room, wouldn't be a bad add.
He wasn’t very productive and should be cheap. Again, the Steelers have no depth so they need to be open to any and all affordable options.Here is the thing. The Ravens saved 2.54 million by releasing him. They still have to replace whatever his production was. That tells me a lot right there. And I'm a Irish fan and was high on him in that draft.

Literally what everyone is saying in this thread.But there are literally hundreds of guys who could put up Boykins numbers. Why him? There are probably two, three or 4 on the training camp roster. If they want to give a vet min look. Sure why not.
If he makes it past waivers, it doesn't hurt to bring him in and see if he can make the team. It shouldn't cost much to sign him. All we have are DJ and Claypool.
