Dudes name is Dicker. We need that guy on our team.

😁

Oh no San Diego is crushing any chance of the Steelers making the playoffs and getting curb stomped...err I mean winning the super bowl...;)

So let me get this straight. The team blows a 33 point lead well into the third Q. And the QB gets benched to third string. Ok. Boy Cowher lost his **** on Saturday getting hired. They promptly went out and won and William Laird has been right ever since.

Meh we still have an in as long as Miami loses out and other things happen, but the odds were very long to begin with and it isn’t going to happen… we will miss the playoffs and end up with a middling pick… if we did sneak in we probably get bounced in the first game … and get a worse draft pick… so basically par for tge course tgese days

The standard of mediocrity. Never great or horrible. They stay at the 50 yardline.

Thank you to Chicago for the "earlier" pick.................................................... X-fingers

A lot of people put Cowher on blast for that as well. I was reading someone who follows the Colts closely mentioned defense and special teams have kept them in the games, the two areas Saturday has stayed hands off.

Also, the Colts had the one fourth quarter where they gave up an insane number of points. Saturday was a bad move from the start and this team needs a fresh start from top to bottom. They’ll have their chance with one of the top three QBs in the draft.

Totally agreed and I would add that KP was a polarizing 1st round pick and I think he is a better prospect them any of the guys this year. The Alabama kid will never stand up to the NFL. He will get ended. Saturday was a ridiculous move by a ridiculous franchise.

This year's QB crop never materialized. Young is the best prospect and he's still built like he's in high school. Analysts question Stroud's play out of structure. Levis will get comparison's to Allen because of his arm, but his production was so-so. Richardson will be drafted based on pure potential and athletic ability, but his accuracy is bad. Beyond that, no one raised their stock.

I would not draft Young. I think it's going to be like last year with no one with a true consensus first round grade. Odd two years in a row. Very odd.

Nice post 48, thanks.

I might add that we got Pickett at 1.20, not a top 10 or 15, that makes his return a little more valuable due to the lower draft position.

I wanted “trench warfare” but once the Pickett was made I’m for it.

I think they will be over drafted. I don't think either of the top 2 makes it out of the top 5.

Young, Stroud, and Levis are consensus first-round grades. Richardson possibly as well, but shouldn't be.

Of the top 10 teams in the draft, the Texans (1), Seahawks (3), Colts (5), Falcons (6), Lions (7), Panthers (8), and Raiders (9) could all be in the market for a QB.

Young will probably go No. 1 to the Texans. Seattle will likely go Stroud, but playing outdoors in the PNW, I could see them taking a chance with the big-armed Levis. The Colts will take Levis (or Stroud). Then the fun begins who will take a chance on Richardson.

If it happens this way that would suck for us. Could you imagine if none of this years QB’s went till 20? Sure would take some highly touted players off the board for us. Let’s hope 4 QB’s get drafted in the top 15.

I am no draft/college player expert,so I have to go on the info I read. Even from people on here🙂
Isn’t it interesting that two years ago when most of the experts were analyzing the KP QB draft pool, many were saying wait till this years draft pool of Young,Stroud ,etc.
Now many are not convinced about this year’s talent.
Time will tell,of course.

I think HOU has to go with one given their current QB roster. Sea would be another even with Geno stepping up. Then the colts, panthers and raiders I would say could go as well. So 5 gone, at least 4 by pick 11.

1) Houston Texans, 2-12-1

2) Chicago Bears, 3-12

3) Seattle Seahawks (via Denver Broncos, 4-11)

4) Arizona Cardinals, 4-11

5) Indianapolis Colts, 4-9-1

6) Atlanta Falcons, 5-10

7) Detroit Lions (via L.A. Rams, 5-10)

8) Carolina Panthers, 6-9

9) Las Vegas Raiders, 6-9

10) Philadelphia Eagles (via New Orleans Saints, 6-9)

11) Houston Texans (via Cleveland Browns, 6-9)
