He played decently last year, but they relied heavily on Barkley. Jones was certainly not worth the $$. I doubt any other team would have given him near that much.
 
Hey the Giants are the only team w/o a first half TD. At least we have that beat
 
This game is horrid. You have to watch it because it's like a public hanging or something. It's one of those scenes where NatGeo shows a gazelle getting drown by a croc or something.

because their team was terrible, they had bad coaching, so it was impossible to evaluate him over his first 3 years. Then Daboll arrived last year and Jones showed improvement and signs of life. So they had to make a choice on limited info because they wasted the first 3 years of his career. Same path Pickett is on currently.

I actually think Jones may turn out OK. The Giants OL is still bad. He's running for his life on most plays. Their WRs scare nobody. The brought in Waller at TE but teams just cover him as WR1 since nobody else makes plays. With Saquon out, the offense has no threats.
 
NFL always comes out with special gear for various causes, like these multi colored hats being worn on sidelines this weekend. Does anybody actually buy this crap?
 
Jones has been sacked 9 times now. And to think we thought the Steelers would have a bunch of sacks against that badass Texan line....and as I type this Jones throws another pick..lol
 
I've got Seattle's defense in my fantasy league. I was way behind going into this game and now I'm way ahead. I hope this bodes well for tomorrow's Powerball drawing.
 
I forgot Devin Bush is on Seattle. Of course, he's just a backup there because they aren't dumb enough to start him.
 
Is Bush dressed? I tried to find whether he was active for this game, but had no luck. His name is not on the stat sheet I'm looking at.

Interesting. I never saw him. It doesn't look like he registered a stat. It's kinda sad what happened with Devin, at least here. How many picks did we trade to move up to get him?

His role is strictly a coverage Lb, almost a safety and he has one of the lowest passer rating’s against in the league… I think our defensive scheme around the ilbs is so broken that nobody will produce there…
 
I really liked the idea of us getting Daniel jones when it looked like the Giants were going to cut ties with him.. he is erratic but flashes a really high ceiling at times… i just don’t think any qb won’t be instantly ruined here right now though…
