Became aware of this stat before the game, but didn’t want to put any negative energy out, just in case there was a chance they could beat Baltimore.

Anyway, Tomlin now holds the distinction of solely being in second place, all time, among NFL coaches for having his team go one n done in the playoffs, with 8! He is just a single one n done behind only Marty Shottenhrimer, a perennial under achiever but still needed 21 seasons to get there, tied with Don Shula, who headed an NFL team for just shy of 1,000 years (actually think it was like 31 or 32, but you get the point)!

Noll, 4 in his 20+ career, Cowher twice in 15 years, and that was only in his first 2 years! After his first 2 seasons, Cowher advanced, at least one game, in every playoffs his teams qualified for!!!

This does not take into consideration the 15 years Tomlin had with a HOF QB or the margin of loss over the last 5 playoff losses!

Absolutely sad!

That's as damning as it gets. They will probably fire the DC as this year's scapegoat, when the whole crew needs **** canned.

It should have happened 10 years ago and every year it doesn't happen,is another wasted year.

It is such a waste and it’s getting exhausting to watch. The pleasure has been gone for so long! There was a time where winning was phenomenal, but losses were hard fought and gave something to be proud of. That’s long gone too!

I'm watching the pregame show and Cowher said a few minutes ago he thinks there will be coaching changes. Also said it's not that the Steelers lost, but the manner in which they did it.

It’s the manner in which they’ve consistently done it for almost a decade now!

Yet many national media and my local NY media, especially, just LOVE Tomlin! “We are lucky to have him!” Ridiculous!

Shhh, don’t let that out to the media

Did you know he’s never had a losing season?

I think he was having a nervous breakdown.

After game panel on espn and when the results of Tomlin’s playoff failures was broached, Tony Gonzales did say maybe it’s time for MT to move on but of course with the caveat that Andy Reid had the same issues in Philadelphia and look what he’s doing now. Then the female moderated interjected that the lack of personnel in key positions on offense is also a contributing factor. Overlooking the ineptitude when we had Ben etc.

They just can’t come out and say it, it would be like the Catholic media saying get rid of “this” pope.

Dan Orlovsky was on with Steven A. this past week and was saying Tomlin’s troubles are due to no QB for so many years, even referring to Big Ben’s last years, when he was declining.

Roethlisbereger was still in his prime in 2017 when they got pasted by the Jags in Pittsburgh, following a 13-3 season and he was still playing at a high level when they were absolutely dismantled by the Browns, in 2020, after a 12-4 season.

Such garbage that people can defend this guy!!!

"iT;s ThE BaDd QB's!!"

Yeah, sure. Never mind that Cowher won 7 playoff games and went to a SB with Neil O'Donnell, Mike Tomczak, Kordell Stewart and Tommy Maddox at QB.

LOL bad QBs, Tomlin had Ben at 25 years old. BB went to the ProBowl 6 times, the last 4 being from 2014-2017.

Tomlin won a SB with Cowher's team and hasn't been able to get the job done since, lately he hasn't even been close.

Keep in mind the Steelers only lost by 14 because the Ravens settled for a 28-14 win. If the Steelers had scored again, I know very funny, the Ravens would have laid ANOTHER 35 point loss on the Defense.

100%!!!

It was a very comfortable 14 pt lead that was not even kind of as close as that score suggests. The Ravens dominated play so efficiently, it was like they were just running plays to stay tuned up, but would have scored if/when they needed to.
