How is this guy still an unsigned free agent?

He wasn't that bad last year. I would say solid but not great. And only 27 years old.

Nobody signed him. Injured?

All I know is no more former Jaguar inside linebackers. Last two should have been good and were meh.

Every team is looking for younger blood.

He probably is holding out for a larger contract. He is hoping for an injury in camp/preseason to snag a decent 1 year deal.
I agree. There are a lot of good players still unsigned and July is basically an off month for the NFL. As camps get going and teams see what they have or injuries occur, a lot of these guys will start signing.

Yeah, why go to training camp and risk injury when you are a veteran. Wait for a needy team who ends up discovering a weak spot and just spends the money on a known commodity.

Intended. I thought he would fit in great. But he didn't do Jack.

It's the name. If his first name was Jack, then he could be something.

We had two HOF linebackers on the same team playing at the same time, named Jack.

Wonder what the odds of that are?

Man they also had another Jack playing for the rams at the time. He's also a HOF.

I've concluded. Jack,is a badass name.

You need to pick up as many Jack's as possible.

Backdoor Butternut BoB wanted to do Jack…………..

Dont forget Jack Butler

Probably just waiting for the injuries to open up a better spot for him somewhere … that or he has lingering injuries…

So he would be Jack Jack?

Miles Jack was a slightly above average ILB. Let’s not over value him in that he is a savior for most teams. He was a veteran quick fix for us that didn’t pan out as we thought he would. His other ILB could have caused some of Jack’s issues as well but obviously the management chose to go in a different direction.

I don’t wish anything bad on him and would like to see him catch on somewhere and be productive (unless playing us). He is no longer a STEELERS player so I give very less time to him.

I would agree that he wasn't terrible - not great either...let's see what the new blood brings this season.

I would be against bringing him back for league minimum wages...

You don't know Jack! He will likely will play for near league minimum with another team.

That’s pretty much everyone’s consensus here,……………….. About Jack that is.

With the right supporting cast, many middle tier guys look pretty good. My suspicion is that he is one of these guys. Lambert would have been lesser next to Bush.
