New oline coach will have to be from the outside

Please do whatever Mike wants OL coach and assistant HC he developed so many guys for us and several late rounders who became starters for long durations i.e 7th rnd Beachum into a high priced LT after he ditched our 1 yr prove your acl is fine to offer, he still played at a high level and is still playing.

Wow, what a revolving door of OL coaches since 2007: Zierlen, Kugler, Munch, Sarrett, Klemm, and now Morgan, although he held the job on a 2-game interim basis. I guess over 14 years that's not a lot of OLC's.

Munchak left to be with his family. Unless that's changed, why would he move back to Pittsburgh?

They could make him a deal where he only has to be in Pitt during the season.

I can't imagine anything that may convince him to come back to Pittsburgh...$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Haha maybe. And I love your Aussie terms. I'm assuming a kit manager is an equipment manager. What's a RUNNER ?

The guy who takes our draft pick to the podium, we won't need one due to us having the fastest available.

Salute the nation

The ownership and Tomlin does not seem to get it. Pay for some coaches that can teach and coach up players. The game has changed the teams successful for most part have young aggressive coaches. Involved coaches, watching other sidelines compared to us is a glaring difference.

Be that as it may, what about Darryl, the overweight guy currently washing jock straps in the Steelers laundry room. Doesn't he deserve the opportunity to show us what he can do? Next man up, right?

Mike Munchak is from Scranton. Incredible lineman at Penn State and for the Houston Oilers.

He left for the Broncos, apparently to be nearer his daughter and her family in Denver, and I understand that. I think there was more. The Steelers were starting to neglect the O line and were tolerating the shenanigans ( or whatever you want to call it) of Antonio Brown , Blount and Bell.

I suspect Munchak had had his fill of it. He left.

How do we get a guy like that back?

Find a good job for his daughter and family in the Pittsburgh area so she wants to move back.

Mike Tomlin has to promise Mike Munchak that discipline of the team will be instilled AND Munchak will have input in literally rebuilding the O line.

I bet guys like Cameron Heyward, TJ Watt and Minkah Fitspatrick would be overjoyed.

Yeah. I'm sure Tomlin is all over that one. I don't think he's interested in having someone that makes him look like an even dumber brick of **** than he already is.
