Hi Guys,

I'm doing the Vidcast live tonight at 7pm ET

Ask me questions and they will be on the Friday podcast. Thanks Nation!

Rooney reaches out to you and tells you.... you could replace one person. The GM or HC. Which would it be and why?

Where do we begin :

Is there any facet of the Steelers team that could be deemed as a success this year ?

How hot should the seat be under .. Tomlin...... Butler........... Canada after witnessing the abysmal efforts in recent games ?

Why is Ben and Najee playing in the later half of the 4th quarter in KC.......... would it not be prudent to get Rudolph and Snell/Ballage more touches ?

Bah i somehow missed this…

What's the chances that Biden does us a solid and names Tomlin ambassador to somewhere … (maybe Hell, so he can finally unleash it…)

Who’s better tj watt with broken ribs or highsmith healthy?

How much is Baker going to get next contract? 20 mil per? 30? Infinity?

Who is your money on to be the coordinators next season

Im going with
OC Canada gets a second chance
Dc Austin takes over for Butler
St bubbles much to my chagrin

I want to say for me Najee and Snell in limited touches has looked fine. You can say the S's have played decent. Perhaps that could constitute as successful areas positionally. Individually Watt and Heyward obviously. All I got....

the situation is so ****** up that the only coach I want back if I have to choose one is this forum's "coach"
Did you feel dirty saying that? 😅

How many times has a tomlin team been the last team out of the playoffs? It has to be often
I got curious... this is miserable to research:

2009 -

Pittsburgh Steelers record: 9-7 (Seed: 8th)

Final Playoff team record: 9-7

*five consecutive 1 sore losses in nov-dec doomed them… none of their losses were more than 7 points (5 “3 point” losses, 1 “6 point” loss, 1 “7point” loss) (2 were OT losses as well)

2012 -

Pittsburgh Steelers record: 8-8 (Seed: 7th)

Final Playoff team record: 10-6

* had they won in week 16 vs the bengals, they would have made the playoffs at 9-7 instead of cinci

2013 -

Pittsburgh Steelers record: 8-8 (Seed: 7th)

Final Playoff team record: 9-7

*they started the season 0-4 and really never were in contention despite playing well down the stretch …of their 8 losses, only NE (12-4) and Cin(11-5) had winning records… their collective record for the teams that beat them was 63-64-1

2018 -

Pittsburgh Steelers record: 9-6-1 (Seed: 7h)

Final Playoff team record: 10-6

*If they beat a bland Browns team week 1 instead of tying them like bozos, they beat the ravens for the division…

2019 -

Pittsburgh Steelers record: 8-8 (Seed: 7th)

Final Playoff team record: 9-7

Lost their first three and last three and two in the middle… they had a shot week 17 if they won and the **** lost

so basically tomlin has never finished lower than 8th in the conference and that was once, and he was tied in record for the final playoff game... he is the king of 7th place... it would be fitting if mr no losing season finished with a non losing season and 8th place just missing the playoffs again...

he is mr mediocrity since 2010...

Well coached teams get better as the season wears on . Why does Tomlin continue to fold like the cheap tent year after year ?

Who are the Steelers? After all these years, what is Tomlin's team personality supposed to be? I'm a long time fan and I must admit that as of this moment I have no idea at all.

Easy enough to figure out…

1. Teams figure out our base schemes and we dont adjust… remember back in the killer B years… New England came up with that deep safety scheme and everyone mimicked it and we still ran routes headlong into it over and over… and last year tge Ravens came up with that scheme that neutered the offense and we just didn’t adjust then either…

2. Lack of legit depth… many if not most of our backups are kept for special teams prowess… which often means there is a larger than normal drop off at a lot of positions when starters go out

This is a great point. Way too many day 3 guys are drafted to play special teams. Ridiculous cutting Roche in favor of the guys they let as well. Roche may never amount to anything, but he had upside as a defender.

A-N-D

OUR special teams are not that impactful enough if the investment is that great with the sacrifice of depth,............... NOT good.

NOTE: Bubbles is a friend of the HC.

Salute the nation

Roche, as a rookie, is playing in a little over 40% (348)of the giants defensive snaps… he has 2.5 sacks, 5qb hits 33 tackles, and 4or 5 tfl…

Compared to alex highsmith’s rookie season its as good or maybe even a tad better… heck its not far off his pace this season

At a position that every team is trying to find talent. Even if Roche never becomes a starter, he is already better than any backup on the Steelers roster and would've fill a hole the Steelers now need to replace next season.

Just repetitive bad decisions over and over again.
