I realize it's a Xbox commercial but this is something I've argued for years. Why would I want to rely upon an event someone is hiring a professional trainer and in shorts and a t-shirt to find out someone's physical attributes. A computer should easily be able to calculate someone's top speed in equipment as they run a deep route, chase a ball carrier in open field, cover a kick. If he high points a ball I should be able to know his true vertical. And it is all real. I'm not saying I would scrub the Combine, but I would go tape vs. quality nfl type opponent, physical metrics from game film calculated from computer, and a final look at the Combine. I'd be very weary of someone flashing at the Combine.
