Below are the players I'm looking forward to watching. They've either been prospects I've focused on during mock drafts or players I believe the Steelers will be interested in.

Israel Abanikanda, RB, Pittsburgh
Habakkuk Baldonado, DL, Pittsburgh
SirVocea Dennis, LB, Pitt
Carter Warren, OL, Pittsburgh
Pitt doesn't have any top prospects outside of Kancey. There are a few depth players the Steelers could look at on day three.

Max Duggan, QB, TCU
Jake Haener, QB, Fresno State
Jaren Hall, QB, BYU
Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee
Aidan O’Connell, QB, Purdue
Stetson Bennett is a jagoff so I didn't include him here. I don't know how far these guys will fall, but if you're talking 7th round for any I add a rooke to be the Steelers No. 3 this year.

Mohamed Ibrahim, RB, Minnesota
Chris Rodriguez Jr., RB, Kentucky
Sean Tucker, RB, Syracuse
I think UDFA is the way to go with Harris and Warren back.

Jordan Addison, WR, USC
Josh Downs, WR, UNC
Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
Jalin Hyatt, WR, Tennessee
Quentin Johnston, WR, TCU
Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Oklahoma
Rashee Rice, WR, SMU
Jaxon Smith-Njigba, WR, Ohio State
Cedric Tillman, WR, Tennessee
Parker Washington, WR, Penn State
I want a speed guy on this offense. Hyatt can stretch the field. A lot of talk Flowers could have excellent speed. Pickett-Addison is so intriguing.

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah
Michael Mayer, TE, Notre Dame
Luke Schoonmaker, TE, Michigan
Darnell Washington, TE, Georgia
Gentry may not be back making a true No. 2 TE a need. Heyward is more of a gadget player.

TJ Bass, OL, Oregon
Matthew Bergeron, OL, Syracuse
Jaelyn Duncan, OL, Maryland
Anton Harrison, OL, Oklahoma
Paris Johnson Jr., OL, Ohio State
Broderick Jones, OL, Georgia
Dawand Jones, OL, Ohio State
Jaxson Kirkland, OL, Washington
Cody Mauch, OL, North Dakota State
Olu Oluwatimi, OL, Michigan
Jarrett Patterson, OL, Notre Dame
John Michael Schmitz, OL, Minnesota
Peter Skoronski, OL, Northwestern
O’Cyrus Torrence, OL, Florida
Andrew Vorhees, OL, USC
Darnell Wright, OL, Tennessee
I was hoping for an athletic interior player, but these guys just seem big and powerful. Tackle is deep and I would not mind ending up with a LT in the first and a RT in the second (Wright) or third (Jones).

Felix Anudike-Uzomah, DL, Kansas State
Isaiah Foskey, DL, Notre Dame
Will McDonald IV, DL, Iowa State
Myles Murphy, DL, Clemson
Lukas Van Ness, DL, Iowa
Tyree Wilson, DL, Texas Tech
It is a deep draft for pass rushers. I don't think I want to go that direction in the first round, however, the Eagles had five players with 7+ sacks this season, the Steelers had two (three if Watt was healthy all season). I don't know Highsmith's long-term future with the team, just be prepared if they don't plan to sign him. If they do, still look to add a legitimate third option.

Keeanu Benton, DL, Wisconsin
Gervon Dexter, DL, Florida
Siaki Ika, DL, Baylor
Mazi Smith, DL, Michigan
The run stuffers will fall as they don't offer enough value. If the Steelers can get a guy who has an element of pass rush from the interior, that would be terrific.

Jack Campbell, LB, Iowa
BJ Ojulari, LB, LSU
DeMarvion Overshown, LB, Texas
Ivan Pace Jr., LB, Cincinnati
Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas
Noah Sewell, LB, Oregon
Trenton Simpson, LB, Clemson
Henry To’oTo’o, LB, Alabama
This position becomes a target beginning at No. 32. The ideal slot would be at 47 or in the third.

Deonte Banks, DB, Maryland
Christian Gonzalez, DB, Oregon
Kyu Blu Kelly, DB, Stanford
Joey Porter Jr., DB, Penn State
Eli Ricks, DB, Alabama
Kelee Ringo, DB, Georgia
Cam Smith, DB, South Carolina
Tyrique Stevenson, DB, Miami
Garrett Williams, DB, Syracuse
Devon Witherspoon, DB, Illinois
Brian Branch, DB, Alabama
Jordan Battle, DB, Alabama
Antonio Johnson, DB, Texas A&M
I don't know if there's much of a gap between the best player on the CB list to the fifth or sixth. If that's the case, I don't see the team taking a corner at 1.17. I'd run to the podium for Brian Branch if my top offensive tackle isn't on the board.

as I posted in my UH thread

only three that matter

WR - Tank Dell
QB - Clayton Tune
S - Gervarrius Owens

I would possibly agree, but even I know we need Trench Workers.

Salute the nation

2 questions

1) when is the actual combine?

2) I didn’t want to count the list but how many players do they actually invite ?

Not the greatest sleeper. Like the Masters, the World Cup the Combine just loops all night and I sleep like a baby.
