Why is it legal to grab the ball carrier up high and from behind, and then fall backwards onto his legs? Too many injuries happen this way.

How many players get hurt every week by this type of tackle?

This is not intended as a negative to your thought. Just, at this point, I would welcome ANY rules (or all the rules) as long as refs called it both ways, not selectively.

THIS

near 20 billion dollar entity annually but can't afford full time refs...................... not that that would fix anything as they are told how to call and control the game. GottA keep the viewers to the end................ $$$$money$$$$ depends on it.

Four games today have been decided by two or more scores.

ALSO 2- OT games and the Arizona game finished on LAST play fumble return for win.

There are more OT games than ever, more last second games then ever as well.

The games have become more manipulated to keep it close enough to keep the viewership contained. That is done by the officials and look at the comebacks of today's games as well, keeps it exciting enough to keep the veiwers watching.

The bolded is complete nonsense.

Rumor has it that last week, Chris Boswell purposely hit the upright from 50+ yards out to keep viewers watching.
And the Bengals kicker kicked it right into Minkahs hands. They had to practice that ALOT to get it down.

Idk. Football has become kinda saturated. I snoozed out in the 3rd quarter of the Steelers game today lol.

There’s only so much advertisements I can watch from pepsi, little caesars, att&t etc before I forget I’m tuned into a football game.

The commercials prolong the game more than it should.

As for games being rigged. Maybe they are. The nfl is a multi billion dollar entity and is a powerful industry in the entertainment sect. Corruption is just a fact with that much power. Any big corporation does unethical stuff behind closed doors. I cringe when the nfl tries to push the too good to be true storyline. That there is a giveaway

I strenuously disagree. The last thing we need is more rules about how you can/cannot tackle someone. We already have too much of that "protection" **** to mess up the game by nullifying a great tackle because the guy is "defenseless" or "not looking at you". Come on. This is tackle football. Just my 2 cents, which is only worth 1 cent now due to inflation.
