Interesting his take on Mitch, which made me think of the Titans as a possible approach if he starts. Rudolph wondering if that quicker release would help him in the red zone, and Pickett who reminded me of Ben when he described his obvious attribute.

A short but interesting breakdown.

Good find. Thanks for sharing!

****, you stole my line...................... but I will add

Sullivan is saying Rudolf has upped his qwicker release which tranlates to faster reads. Mason needed that aspect to better and he seems to have worked on it, good for him.

Pickett is a rookie but his scramble ability appears to be a strength of his, yes slash, a Roethlisberger rookie trait.

#4 QB seems to be able to put the ball in a receiver friendly YAC position, something that has been missed around here. Putting the ball consistantly in the area the receiver doesn't have to break stride is a BIG factor, good job.

Mitch seems to be the most complete and I'd be leaning towards hi as day 1 starter.

Nice find and post slash, thank you and well worth the view.!

Besides the good content this guy Sullivan sounds like head coach material.

Can't explain why though. The "it" factor is the best I can do.

I'm with yaz Stewey, it helps elevate the team and I'm all for that.

Tomlin isn't going anywhere for a couple seasons and even then it wouldn't surprise me to see them offer him an extension once again.

I'm not saying Sullivan should be next HC but his presence helps the players. Hell it is being said he is coaching up the QBs which is something we haven't had in awhile. That wasn't said when Fitchner was QB coach was it? That's why I say Sullivan is elevating the team with better play/coaching.

I hope the new defensive coaches are elevating the team as well.

The ONLY long time friend of Tomlin's in the coaching department is Danny "Bubbles" Smith and he has needed the boot for a long time.

People forget that for like the first two years of his career, Rudoph didn’t even have a QB coach… we quit having them when Fitchner got promoted until someone realized that if you want to develop young qbs, you best have someone who can work directly with them… not some overmatched OC spending his spare time with them….

As for Danny Smith, id love to know how a guy who gets to basically pick a backup at wr, olb, ilb, S, Rb, and Cb to dedicate to special teams can justify having meh units year in and year out….

People defend him with the vary rare kick block he gets or Boswell’s kicking, but that year Boz was wonky he got a pass saying the STC doesn’t control tge kickers effective abilities… and worse when Boz got hirt, he had no viable contingency option even thought out…

Plus at least a half dozen times during his tenure, his special teams didn’t know tge rules about something and it cost us dearly

If he is a good ST coordinators, id hate to see a bad one.. lol

From a pyschological standpoint, when asked open ended questions his order was always Mitch, Mason, Kenny, then Chris. So in Mike's mind, that is the depth order at this point.

EXACTLY !!!

Been calling for this for a few years now. I've advocated in-season change. Harvin, our punter is another good example., he clearly wasn't ready to participate and yet Bubbles parades him out there. I know the personal tragedy but did BUBBLES have a clue?

Hadn't thought about Harvin since last season, they must feel that last year was a fluke and he'll bounce back.

As far as Sullivan goes, he certainly sounds like a coach and interviews well. I hope that translates into him actually being someone that knows how to coach up players.

Great vid, nice find!
I'd like to see the four in an NFL QB Challenge type deal... would be interesting for sure.

Better? :)

His nick-name has been bubbles due to his insecent chewing a big cheek full of bubble gum. If you watch real close on the side lines, if they ever show him, you can't miss it.

Either way he doesn't bring much to the coaching tree as for the STs unit hasn't been very good for quite some time.

In this instance, it was both the PC and correct way to conduct the interview. Highlighting each QBs stong points in a consistent chronological order was simple to follow and understand even for me. Nice rosy perspective which is what you would expect this time of year without overhyped optimism.

Thank you slash.

You welcome. I would love more like this in other areas of the team breaking down some competition. If I see them I will of course post them. 👊

Did anyone else notice or think that Mitch 'stares down' his WR too much??? I need to rewatch but I noticed that...

Also Rudy has worked hard on his qwuick release which translates to faster reads. He needed to work on that.

I'll have to watch Mitch as well but PLEASE post what you see / opinion once you watch. (thanks)
