Saw an interesting article that McShay posted where no QBs were taken till 20. He gave each team's pick and all seemed feasible. If this happens we can pretty much guarantee Malik will be a steeler.

Every year people panic and trade up to take QB’s. Unfortunately this year we’re likely to be that team.

Weird....I just saw an interesting article where the first QB goes with the 72nd pick. Just imagine. Oh wait....I also read one where multiple QBs go top ten. Wait?. Hmmmm......Never mind.

Not sure if I can post it or not since the full article was on ESPN+, but he went through every team and stated who teams would pick and why so it was not just random gibberish like some of the articles. I doubt the draft will play out that way as teams always reach for QBs, but there is not much hype about this QB class

Every year there are positional groups and players draft analysts hype up and when the draft comes, they happen to go where they should (second or even third round). I am getting the sense we are about to see the same with some players this year. Willis has the athletic traits of a first rounder. Pickett, Ridder, Howell, and Corral are all probably second-round prospects, maybe creep up into the end of the first round.

I’m hoping we take Tyler Linderbraun or Jordan Davis if available. I would rather fill other needs first and roll with Tribusky and address the position next year. A dark horse in the 1st could be Zion Johnson.

IMO this is the list:

1. Willis
2. Davis
3. Olave
4. Penning

If those 4 picks, provided #2's first name is Jordan, THAN that would be very exciting Draft and forever you would be known as the man. Your fame would surpass Coolie's to the tenth degree.

We would not be worthy in your presence (think Wayne's World)

These are my top 4 picks for 1.20

Fuggle-sticks, I still stand behind my prediction of your fame should we get them in that order of our picks.

Even more fame, should we get all four at 1.20..................................

One of these draft gurus is bound to be right. About something.

This is my nightmare scenario.
If zero QBs are chosen and it’s pick 20 with us on the clock, we’ll be taking one of these OK projects to ride pine for a year behind Mitch.

With the Edmunds deal I was thinking that might free up a pick for a "trench warfare" type player but now fear it is contributing to a QB in rnd 1.

I hope to not live in my fears and to be enjoying popcorn with butter.
