No TD Passes Yet To Our WRs

Yikes! Only two TD passes so far, one short one to Najee and another to Muuuuth.
Hard to believe with the talent at WR in DJ, Pickens, Claypool, and even Gunner we zero TDs. Only continues to show the ineptitude of this Canada offense and Mitch’s failure to get in sync with a talented group of receivers. Hopefully when Cal Austin comes back they can get him involved and utilize his speed deep.
 
I want Austin to do well, VERY well but I think I'll have to let him play a game or two before making my "savior" ranking.

There is a reason there haven't been any down field TDs and it isn't funny. Our OC doesn't seem to call that type of play or even a setup to those kinds of play.

Why all of a sudden do our WRs seem to have put grease instead of sticum on thier hands...........................

Yes the offense is really bad and Canada is really bad but we have to remember that Tomlin signs off on that ****. Why is the leader of this team not taking charge.

And there it is. How the hell is the HC responsible for who the QB throws the ball too and better yet why the WR haven't caught a TD???

Because he is the head coach and signs of on that mess every week. Tell me what improvement have you seen from this team that Tomlin has had a hand in? So you don't think Tomlin should be coaching his coaches to rectify this issue?

Not to come off as some Canada apologist (as if there exists such a person), but I just can't believe that there are NO plays whatsoever in his playbook that the 2nd, 3rd route options call for a post or deep slant, etc. Some of the blame has to go to Mitch, who more often than not locks on to his first read, or whose hesitancy had become a chronic condition.

I'm sure there is but we haven't seen that execution to say the least. ALSO kind of telling non of our WRs have a passing TD....................... something is wrong and O'Canada is a part of that. Mitch can be as well but ............................................

Well its been discussed and mostly verified that Canada (and apparently Tomlin) do not like the middle of the field which pretty much cancels all post routes.

In fairness, nobody is catching touchdown passes so at least it's not favortism.

Wasn’t about fairness Sarge! The post was centered around the fact it’s amazing that not one of our WRs has caught a TD pass. That’s all!
