I wish we move on from tomlin. But we aren’t. So what the next number 1 priority? IMO moving on from Meyer. We have the youngest line I think we’ve ever had. There’s talent there to. We absolutely must develop them.
My wish list

1. Mike Munch ( obviously). But I just don’t think he wants to be back. I’m not so sure he wants to be back around tomlin 🤷‍♂️

2. Roy Istvan Eagles assistant o line coach
Eagles have the best line in football. Why not start our rebuild with this guy

Anyone else have a O line name you’d like to have ?

Keli’i Kekeuwa- would be cheap enough so he fits the 1 requirement

Also an under the radar name and it would be a promotion for him. He did great work with Carolina’s centers though turning Cade Mays around and making a career guard Corbett into a serviceable-good center. Would like to see him work with a guy like Frazier and tap that potential.

They were excellent run blockers and would seem to fit what AS likes to do.

Contrary to popular tales, Munch didn't leave on good terms, he ain't coming back.

Travelle Wharton, Assistant OL, Baltimore Ravens
TJ Paganetti - Run game specialist, OL assistant, Philadelphia Eagles
Austin Gund - Assistant OL, Buffalo Bills
Eddie Gordon - Assistant OL, Green Bay Packers
Austin King - Assistant OL, Denver Broncos

All five are from teams that are either top 5 in fewest sacks allowed, or top 5 rushing teams. Some are in both catagories. Austin King has history with Fields, and was with him for his best rushing season in Chicago. Any one of these guys would be HUGE upgrades to what we have now. Meyer has a solid history, just not that recent of success. His scheme also doesn't seem to fit our players. For that reason alone, I would lean towards Wharton and Paganetti. I think they would fit better with Smith's offense and what Tomlin tries to do.

We all know the philosophy isn't going to change as long as Tomlin is here, so you give him the best guys to fit these idea. And if they are going with Fields, with the idea he can be like Lamar, why not steal as many Baltimore coaches as you can?
