To me,the total focus on Harris set us back a full year or two. It was an arrogant ****-tard pick. Like many picks in the last 5years.
I’ve got nothing against Naj. But there’s no way he’s a superstar. He will have good games. But he is so inconsistent. Personally I bet James Connor would have had the same stats along with most other RB’s. If Warren would be given the same amount of carries I am quite confident he would have done the same or better. Not concentrating on the line first was stupidity. How many out there think Naj will get a lucrative 2nd contract from Pittsburgh? How many out here think Creed would have gotten a lucrative 2nd contract?

On a side note I saw it was Leveon Bell’s Birthday a few days ago. 31 years old. Seems like he would be a lot older. Wonder if that 13 million he sat out for would have come in handy. Stupidity.

I totally agree on the draft process of player order. When we drafted a 3rd round & a 4th round OL and started both, was very questionable at best but to find out what the 3rd rnd draft was switched to a center………… yeah, crazy as hell.

Whatever degree of success that season brought, should be greatly accredited to the HOF QB that used every ounce of skill behind that crappy OL, yet many blamed the HOF QB for the failure (Idiots).

Creed Humphrey is a PRO-BOWLer in his second season. Mid-way through his rookie year he rated #1 center in the NFL for a good part of the season. Talk about missing on a ROCK for a position long term, ignored.

Green (3rd rounder) on the other hand didn’t even dress for a single game last season………………….

Najee has completed two of his six highest production years of his career, where has that gotten him ???

Our OL is a riddled bullet hole of a line. There is NOT one single near pro-bowler, that I feel is 10 year capable to remain on this team, yet often overlooked.

I hope like hell this draft is invested and I mean heavily and committed to high investment OL, 1-2 picks. Match that next year as well.

I tell ya Drink,it just annoys the hell out of me. Watching the SB I concentrated a lot on Creed and Kelce, the two centers. They just dominated. Controlled it all. I am hoping we draft a center as well. I was watching the Michigan center,Olu Oluwatimi. I’d take him no problem in the 3rd. Was watching Broderick Jones play against top teams and absolutely dominate,I would grab him instantly. I get the feeling he will blow up the combine and not even be there for us.

They made mistakes not addressing either line in the past few years. Now, they must draft high for both this year and maybe next. I've said this for years, everything starts from the Big Uglies and goes out from there. If the lines improve, everyone else instantly looks better, including the coaches.

It's been tough watching what has happened at C the last couple of years, especially with the history the Steelers have had with centers. So many have been all-time greats.

I love Najee and think his stats would be off the charts with a great OL. But the only way I ever pick a RB in the first round is if I have 21 pro bowlers starting at every other position.

It honestly wouldn't hurt my feelings if 3 of the first 4 picks addressed the offensive and defensive lines.

They need to keep Tomlin the hell out of the draft and let Andy build this team. Of course Rooney won’t follow that course instead letting the mediocre HC make the final decisions.

If he just lets Andy stack the board it would be a win.

Have Rooney stand behind him with a ruler reminding him to stay in order.

I like both players, but the Steelers arguably drafted the two least valuable offensive positions with Harris and Freiermuth rather than stacking the offensive line. I don't even look at Humphrey as a reach in the first because he was such a highly-rated center. Green can't even get a hat now and appears to be a borderline NFL player and everyone is already talking about replacing Moore at left tackle.

Yeppers, 8 years from now, Creed will just have finished his 6th or 7th PRO-BOWL

And

Najee will be 2 years into his life’s work.

I liked the Muth pick, but hated the Harris pick. An average RB behind a quality OL is much better than a quality RB behind an average OL, every day and twice on Sunday.

Tomlin probably bought new rims for his first broke assed car, when it needed a new head gasket.
