Official what we get for AB thread

A second round pick, a third round pick, and a big sigh of relief.

Originally, I thought a low first round pick. Unless they can get some teen hacker to disable this fucktards social media, we are looking at a day three pick.

I hear all ther Raider chatter, but.....Not sure Gruden will want a $21 million wide receiver in the 2nd year of his rebuild...Otherwise he would have kept Khalil Mack, no?

I still think we get a first rounder...Late, but someone will pony up...

I'm thinking NFC EAST because of their parity & they compete so heavily with each other...

I can see Dallas getting into this thing (We would get a #1 from them), & Philadelphia is Franchising FOLES & will get at least a 3rd for him...(maybe a 2 & 3 from them) Washington & Snyder has been known to overpay, and he would fit really good there...We could get a #1 from Wash I believe

didn't realize that when you sign a player to a contract with a huge signing bonus the money must immediately be placed in an escrow account. The Raiders are very cash poor and ddi not have the money to place in escrow for a new Mack contract hence the trade. Brown stated he wants new money in a contract s this could be a killer for the raiders. A straight up trade with no money the Raiders can swing, not sure about a huge new contract.

I think we get a 3rd or 4th for Brown, he is poisoning the well with all his bullshit.

We absolutely should take nothing less than a 1st but we've been here before (Santurdio). My guess is we screw the pooch and get a ****** 3rd round pick.

Some scotch, 10 gallons strawberry ice cream, and a can of spam.

might be a good deal depending on the scotch.

to the OP, I guess a 3rd and a 5th. I don't like it, but that is my guess.

Dallas has no 1st. Raiders got it for Cooper.

But Santonio was never on AB's level. Some team will give up a one, he's arguably the best WR in the league and under contract for two more years.

I am not sure i trust Colbert/Tomlin with any picks. I'd take a Miller/Peterson-type and a 3 or 4

I agree with Steve a here. It's not really about what we gonna get. It's about what players are in the game. I don't think he goes to a rebuilding ****** team, even if they have cap space or the picks to give up. I think he goes to a team who is on the cusp of a championship who lacks that final piece. I'm thinking a team like new Orleans, Indy colts,. Tennessee Titans. No I don't know their money situation or picking order yet.

Just for the record, Mr. Big Chest has absolutely no say in the trade / contract negotiations. The STEELERS could trade straight up for the raiders 1st round pick. The current contract goes with the player and the signing bonus guaranteed by the STEELERS, the STEELERS eat it on this years salary cap. The duration of the contract is as is or can be modified by the Raiders if they so chose (least ways this is how I see it,) I don't know where AB gets this new contract guaranteed money from???? Only if the new team restructures the contract. Maybe some one could correct me if I am wrong please...............

Brown is purposely pulling this **** off so the Steelers release him and he can dictate where he wants to go. I hope the Steelers are not idiots and recognize this and get fair value back.

No, that sounds about right.

And for those thinking he’s going to cost 21mil plus against the cap to the team that gets him is incorrect. His base salary for ‘19 is about 12 mil, ‘20 is about 11 mil n change and ‘21 12 mil. He’d cost Steelers 23 mil+ against the cap because base of 12 mil, signing bonus prorated against the cap and roster bonus he’s due after 3/17. That’s why even if traded, he’s 21 mil against Steelers cap... all his cap hit prorated signing bonus would be on ‘19 for them. Without a new deal, the team that trades for bABy gets him for about 12 mil per. Have to believe that’s why Kahn was at meeting... to discuss finances n money Steelers should recoup if Brown gets new deal, big signing from team that acquires him.

If I’m Steelers, I’m on phone with Bills, Skins, Cards, Raiders and even 49’ers, as well as possibly Miami, Titans, Denver
