Don't get me wrong. It's not that I mind him catching the ball, or that I don't think he's an amazing receiver. I'll go on record saying that Brown, Bell and Roethlisberger are the best offensive core this team has seen for decades. The Bus and Ward were amazing with Roeth too, but now both those guys were at different points in their careers and they brought different skills to the table.
Hell, I even think he's (Brown) about the most competitive guy on the field. I'm just tired of the first-down ball thing and the meaningless catches and records while the rest of the team (particularly the coaches, the offensive line and the defense,) continue to suck *** week after week. I'm frustrated with the fact that the coaches are getting by on the ridiculous talent of a few of the players on the team despite the fact that the game-planning and in-game adjustment capability is utterly pathetic.
Nonetheless, every week Roethlisberger and Brown go out and add to a record that will likely get both of them into the Hall of Fame at some point in the future. Along the way we'll see the coaches continue to save their jobs. I mean **** - look at the output they're getting out of the players. They've got Hall of Fame performances going on each and every week from at least two, maybe three guys! (Never mind the fact that practically EVERY ******* team in the league can beat the Saints but us. Practically EVERY ******* team in the league can beat the Jets.
****, you got a team that can't come in 9th place at a jerk off contest at a Jenna Jameson lifetime achievement film festival? Put them up against the Steelers! They can fix that **** up real quick and in a hurry. Tomlin will come up with a gameplan that has them closing their eyes and fantasizing about a fat, greased up Ron Jeremy doing gay porn.

Even Ike said in the paper yesterday that guys don't understand the electricity in this town when they're on a playoff run, they just want to cash their checks and look forward to the off-season and there are not enough players left who know what that's like.I don't understand this at all. Brown and Bell are just about the only two guys that produce on a weekly basis. I WISH Wheaton had half of the opportunities to signal a first-down reception of Brown. Maybe if some of these other guys could produce to that extent, the Steelers wouldn't lose to these scrubs every time they play them. I think your frustration is drastically misguided to the few guys on the team that help us win and not enough toward the players, coaches and front office who are at the root of the problem.
