The Cap(Kaep) thread made me start thinking about our Cap situation.

$13 mill left. But how many times in our long history has a kicker and a fullback been our highest paid offensive players? I would guess zero.

Stange times indeed.

Agree Cope but Derrick Watt is perplexing. I wonder if under the table TJ had a conversation about his brother's pay and TJ's availability at the time leading to his contract or there abouts.

He seems high, but he's on par for NFL pay for being a ST stud, which he is.

I only hope they can utilize his offensive talents so that price tag looks like a steal. If they can't do it this year, Canada needs to be replaced.

Definitely like this line of thought !!!


I want the STEELERS to succeed and that means everyone accountable to higher play including coaches. O'Canada has the most to prove.

The Steelers were paying Keith Butler as D Coodinator since 2015 when it was Tomlin at the reigns the whole time. Dude got a nice paycheck to wear a headphone on the sideline for 7 years.

You could say the same about Cowher and LeBeau. While we all love Lebeau, there were some stories that came out how Lebeau would prepare the game plan all week and Cowher would come in on game day and change everything and take over. Who knows how much or how often that was true. But it wasn't just a Tomlin thing and i suspect it probably happens a lot with other teams. Hell, here in dallas we think Jerry Jones was telling Garrett what to do lol, so much so we thought when he fired garrett he would jsut take over as head coach also (he sits in on coaches meetings).

It was zach banner… tge guy who didn’t play last year…. But he got hellacut

Also K is ST not really O… and Watt is a fullback in name only… he earns that as a special team’s ace… so you are really down both of these

Now once the trabuski, Daniels, and cole signings are listed tgey should be our top 3…. But it really puts it in perspective where the staff and front office are focused on… in a passing offense driven league they want to be a running offense with a good D…
