Parking for Monday Night?

My 21 yr old son is headed to the game with a friend. He will need to park somewhere, but doesn't know where. Any advice on where? Best arrival time? Pay in advance?

Depending on if he wants to tailgate... Arrival time would be early say 1130 if you are walking to the stadium from the area I suggest to park. 9 or 10ish if tailgating. Google Ft. Duquesne and 6th garage. Garages in that area. Very cheap and a little away from the stadium helps a fan avoid after the game heavy traffic. You walk across Robert Clemente bridge and work your way down to the stadium. Fans can guide you to the tailgate area or the stadium area. Usually a good flow pre game of fans walking. They are only going in one direction. This is for a Sunday 1pm game you can adjust for similar time different day or game time. BTW not an overly long walk so easily doable. You pay when you park before walking to Heinz...

If he's just going to the game there are a lot of places downtown to walk or ride over.

Yeah…20 minute walk from downtown. Don’t park on the North Side. Traffic will be a *****.
