Still waiting for news from the NFL on happy ending gate and filmgate part deux. Now they look to be signing Patrick Chung to an extension. Hmmmm. Didn't they find a hell of a lot of cocaine in his home? Now I know he isn't going to jail but he accepted a plea deal which means it's on record that he possessed it. So how is he not getting 4-8 games here. We aren't talking about a couple grams of weed.

Cocaine possession is typically a felony. 4 games should be the very low end of a suspension for that, plea deal or not. And, of course, nothing will happen with Kraft. As far as Goddell is concerned, that is old news. It happened over a year ago.

The court issues are done. I dont see how this could possibly be less than 4 games. My guess is it will be 4 games but it's always snails pace with the Pats.

the sad thing is, this has been going on so long that most don't even question it. Years from now when Chung is about to retire, the league will suspend him for the next season.

Don't forget "tuggate" with Kraft. This league is garbage right now. I hope some new leadership steps in and makes it great again. One of you can design a hat for that.

Gotta say I was shocked to hear the Cheats were extending Chung. Admittedly hadn't followed the story but last I heard he was being investigated for trafficking coke. I was surprised he was even allowed to play last year and now they extend him? Naive little me.
