Penn State makes another college coach rich!

Here's the whole Pat Kraft leaked audio. Somebody may have thought this makes him sound bad but I love what he's saying. It appears to have subtitles by AI that are not always correct. He must be talking to a group of coaches and some players. SOunds like LB Tony Rojas, and i'm guessing DB King Mack who played a year at Bama plus some OL.

Says Oregon is soft and the state is full of weirdos
It's a lot of criticism of Franklin, mainly that he paid everyone on the team with NIL paying money to over 100 guys while other programs are only paying maybe 60 guys.
Other teams fine guys $10,000 for missing meetings etc
State College being rural is a major recruiting hurdle. Lots of guys want more action of a city.
Need to play the best players even if they're freshmen, no more loyalty to vets
Need to develop players better
Points out how Terry Smith fixed some of these things in just a few weeks.
Committed to winning a national championship
Says he's getting fired if he messes up this coach hire.

No lies told. There are a lot of things they have to do better. They can get the talent. I mean, they could use a couple more 5 star guys for sure, but the talent to compete for a national title is there for the most part. Just gotta get the most out of that talent. Also, Rojas is the guy most are speculating recorded and released that audio. Pretty sure he will transfer.

Some good news, Terry Smith is staying on staff at Matt Campbell’s request. Hopefully that will hold some of this team together. Also read that ISU’s DC is coming too so that means Knowles is out. No word on any player transfers or any other staff that I’ve seen.

Pitt isnt what he is comparing recruiting too... its the ohio states and Michigans...

Penn state is in the middle of nowhere in a cold weather state, far from beaches or cultural hotspots for 20 somethings...
its not a crippling handicap but it is a handicap nonetheless..

Pitt is its own worst enemy when it comes to big time athletics. There isn’t an investment like the major programs.
 
Although I’ve only been there a handful of times, State College is awesome. Great town. The football atmosphere is amazing. Great place to see a game. It’s a good environment, and I’m sure if you’re looking for “action” you can find plenty of it.
