Solidly that inside corner, yes!
When I saw he was released yesterday i was like now there is someone who would help the position. But with two to three options on the roster I wondered if the Steelers would bite.Khan Artist hits it out of the park again!
I must have read more than five stories how the Steelers should go after King and BAM, here we are. Solid upgrade and from what I read, a lot of teams were interested. When I saw he was released yesterday i was like now there is someone who would help the position. This isn't Colbert's Steelers this GM and crew is hungry!
Who were you interested in? Yeah the Steelers aren't shelling out significant money to a backup or part time player. But would any cut at this point really demand significant money?I think there were a couple of guys that might be better than him out there, but I’m guessing they will want more money
I thought callahan would be ideal and Roby tooWho were you interested in? Yeah the Steelers aren't shelling out significant money to a backup or part time player. But would any cut at this point really demand significant money?
Roby was interesting I was looking at him. Not to up (know much about) on Callahan...I thought callahan would be ideal and Roby too
I think Pressly beat him out. But I think something will be done with one of them really soon.Great signing! Still fairly young at 28, like what wouldn’t I give up to be 28 again. Former all pro in 2018. I like it!
Now let’s move a punter please. I’m leaning towards keeping the other guy Mann since Pressly lacks consistency but did have a nice summer.
We cut Mann… I’m guessing whatever they had planned fell through due to waiver claims on other puntersHad a 73.2 PFF rating last year. Seems to be a guy who can play all over the secondary. Wonder if we dump the punter or a guy like Riley.
A lot of what the Steelers are doing reminds me of what the Pats did when they first had Brady. Signed a lot of savvy vets and played team football. The Pats weren't fancy but you were hard pressed to find a weakness. Defense was top 5, running game was solid, passing game came up with big plays when needed. It was a team you had to play perfect football on all aspects to beat. I wouldn't mind 5 years of that type of football in Pittsburgh.IMHO---I like the King signing more than Peterson's...
If it wins I’m all for playing that way ALL the time!A lot of what the Steelers are doing reminds me of what the Pats did when they first had Brady.
