I'm sure some of you have seen the post from McCutchen showing his latest pay stub, if not, it can be seen here:

While not specifically football related, it's interesting that what shows up on the stub is a "Pittsburgh Professional Athlete Fee". Which means every Steeler would pay this as well. After some quick searching, I couldn't find what the actual fee is. With the huge discrepancy in wages between players, it would almost have to be some sort of percentage of income rather than a flat "fee". I can't imagine a practice squad player shelling out $50k/year to the city of Pittsburgh when he's only making $200k. Another thing that's interesting is that for every away game, the player is taxed in the home team's state and even city (see Philadelphia). It has to be an accounting nightmare to prepare taxes for a professional athlete.
I figured this would be a nice break from the usual fire Tomlin, cut Archer and Pat*s are cheaters threads.
