If Chargers and/or Denver win this weekend the Bengals game still has meaning for deciding Steelers wild card seed and who they visit in the wildcard round. If both Chargers and Denver win out and Steelers lose, Steelers go to Buffalo. If one of Chargers and Denver wins out and Steelers lose, Steelers go to Baltimore. If Steelers lose to Bengals and both Chargers and Denver lose at least one or Steelers and Baltimore both win, Steelers go to Houston.
I'm ignoring ties in all these possible scenarios.

Who says it’s “a” player? I’m thinking Hayward was referring to different players blowing their individual assignments on different plays. Funny how Belichick never had a problem with his defenses blowing assignments late in the season.

The Bengal game also is likely the only chance to avert ending the season with a 5 game losing streak
