In an interview with Pope Francis published November 11 by the Italian newspaper, Repubblica, the supreme authority of the Catholic Church equated Christianity with Communism when asked about his views on Marxist ideology.

“It is the communists, in all cases, that think like Christians. Christ has spoken of a society where the poor, the weak and the excluded are those who make the decisions. Not the demagogues, or the barbarians, but rather the people and the poor that have faith in God or not that we have to help obtain equality and liberty.”

The Vatican owns a lot of valuable real estate in the Trastevere section of Rome. If they will redistribute a nice apartment there to me along with a job at a funeral home, then I will forgive them for their accumulation of wealth.
 
Religion never meshes well with politics. It's used as a tool to get elected by pushing marriage or abortion rights, but when it comes to treating everyone with compassion and the golden rule, religion is strangely forgotten.

Usually that is correct. But Trump did not push either topic and still won.

They're desperate to disqualify him and any agenda that isn't socialist in nature. It is a sight to see but not always pretty eh?

Stalin was so caring for the poor that he starved millions to death. Yeah communism is really good for those in government who enjoy oppressing people. It's about as useful to mankind as radical Islam.
 
Merkel should be hog tied and whipped behind the shed for her destructive immigration policies.
 
I don't know as much as a I should about the Bible, but I don't think there is anywhere that jesus taught to steal from others to give to the less fortunate. There is no "collective" salvation. you have individual responsibilities to your fellow man. you can choose to follow them or not.
