Post Draft adds of Steeler FAs

Agree, Jackson lll if healthy would upgrade the secondary and if we get a top corner in the draft things will be looking up.

I think either or both, provided the $$$mo-money$$$ is correct. Definitely can't overpay for either and it doesn't look like anyone is willing to pay them much either. Neither has signed with a team.

If healthy, what would we pay or want to pay. Jack = 3.8mil, WJ3 = 5.5 mil, I'm no craptologist but near that money should be gtood to go.

Maybe they like his look in a track suit. Good grief Coolie. If his back was healed, and he was willing to play on the cheaper end he would be on a team if not the Steelers. He is done.

Lots of guys. Most who will file their retirement papers. It was a bust move. At some point you are just going to have to come to grips that they flushed 2.75m dollars on a guy who is done.
And at this point let's pretend he is healed, they sign him and he plays pretty well which seems pure fantasy. How did the 2.75 m buy them anything. He couod have been on anyone's roster for over a month now.

not sure why you are so hung up on this move

Myles Jack also could be on someone else's roster but isn't

plenty of FA moves happen after the draft
 
I'm only hung up with the fact that despite the fact that they got ZERO for 2.75m and he has dangled out there for a month but you still won't admit it was a **** move and they got duped into saving the Commanders more than it would have cost to keep a guy like Edmunds.

My view was why the **** are you paying draft picks (never happened) and guarenteed money for someone who will be released. It was stupid. If you want to say you were like gosh golly it's a roll of the dice but maybe. And weren't like holy **** its WJ3 Whatever. Pointless to argue with those who will never admit they were wrong.

I your High school size receiver has a good rookie or even second season I will be FIRST to say I was wrong. But that's the difference. By the way how many games have you coached total. Cause I'm well over 100 and 30 at HS level. I've had grade 10 receivers bigger then Dell.
 
SOOOO I got a 15lb spiraled ham for easter. of course had it on easter. then had it monday twice. for ( eggs Benidict) and fried ham for dinner.
today I made ham and hominy for breakfast. ham with peas/pineapple/peppers for dinner. froze 5lbs for future use. have the bone with about 1lb of meat saved for a weekend soup. have a ham casserole planned for tomorrow. then what? have about 2 lbs left over

Yes I would have made the move, it cost nothing but some chump change...it may not have worked out, but it was worth a shot

and who knows, he might not be done and he might still sign and earn some playing time.....

His chump change is as much or more than the Starting QB and the Starting RB and more than a guy who started 5 years at safety and walked to the Eagles. Like I said. People who can't admit when they are wrong are useless. They just chop up the facts the way they want to. And just like Coach who you **** on endlessly you just can't admit that you are ****** WRONG.

If I had said he was going to work and and be a contributor on the defense and help the team win games I would have been wrong

I did not say that

I said it was worth the shot to make the deal....not all deals work out.....it was a low risk roll of the dice to try and get another playmaker for the defense

the fact that you didn't and don't like the move means absolutely nothing in regards to if the move was "right" or "wrong"
