Guess i can't post the link... Anyways to summarize Tomlin is a football scholar, film study guy, and kinda calls out assistant coaches in meetings.
 
Oh...he studied film. That's why he doesn't need a play chart or computer like other coaches do. He's smarter.
 
The film he has been watching the past several years is not going to win any Academy Awards.....obviously.
 
Pouncy slob nobb'n his former coach. I've read the opposite of coach Tomlin and I've heard the talking heads discuss it too, Tomlin is not a "details guy". Tomlin is that annoying Uncle who asks you a question and then gives you the wrong answer.
 
Maybe Pouncey feels pressure on Tomlin and is trying to help. That is a good sign that the insiders are unhappy. Also, Pouncey gave technical responses, not "he was the best coach I've ever seen/played for." Damning with faint praise is the worst....
 
What is Pouncey's frame of reference? He only played for Tomlin professionally. What can he compare it to?
 
If he was that maybe he should pull the boys in once in a while and tell them what to do. Oh no they all come pre packaged pros. They all know what to do. As far as calling out assistants. Nor there. Probably true. But he also doesn't replace them with good ones.
 
What would anyone expect Pouncey to say. Of course he’s going to take up for Tomlin.
Let’s just call this what it is a total **** show that was orchestrated by Tomlin.
His coaching hires, the players he and Colbert drafted, the free agents he and Colbert brought in, his defensive schemes.
He’s the boss, he makes all of the decisions and signs off on everything.
Accountability must start first with Tomlin before anyone else is held to accountability.
This is a deep cancer within this organization and it started and continues to grow with this head coach,
I’ve said it before that this team will never,ever win anything as long as this arrogant buffoon Tomlin is in charge.
So past time for a change!
 
So he calls out his assistant coaches in film sessions in front of the players they are trying to coach. I'm not sure who that benefits, but nothing like discrediting your staff in front of the players. Geez...

Two things that Shades never does:
1. Have a losing season (until now).
2. Admit he made a mistake.
 
If he is such a film guru, why the heck do t you ever see him with an ipad over on the bench showing guys what they need to do based off all that knowledge? Bullshit all the way! Besides, he blew of Harris. If he was such a guru, you would think he would luv to strut his stuff for a rookie. He has always been over his head, hence his bug eyed look every game.

Here’s a link I found. According to Pouncey, Tomlin is so smart and knows just what plays to run on offense to win, but dating back to Todd Haley, no one is really listening apparently. If they’d just listen to Tomlin……
