Yeah the days of cool stadium names are gone. I couldn't care less what they call it at this point. I kind of wish they would have kept it "center" though, just because that's what its been since it opened.
Just weird. Its one of those new looks that are ??? Eh at first but you tend to forget about it

Keep 'Center' .... Call it The PPGC.

They're spending millions of dollars to market their company. Apparently they don't believe PPG alone does the job.

I was trying to explain this somebody the other day. PPG wouldn't do it for mos people. Wouldnt for me. That's so generic. Pittsburgh Post Gazette?
Never even heard of PPG. Not from the Pitt area and I read this brand is national. So must have some $$$. I heard Consol went broke which is why they aren't marketing for the arena anymore
The PPG Paint Center sounds like a home improvement store, not a sports venue. I can see why they chose "Arena". It needs a nickname. PPG Paint ANYTHING is lifeless.
