Man did he get laid out. I hope he's going to be OK now and in the future. Vicious hit.
Seems like the guy gets targeted on the field?
Maybe he is not in with the "kool" crowd league wide..
Yeah, it’s all entertainment, bread & circus. If there was no flag on that the ref making the decision should sit a week. People say they wish football was the way it used to be. If they didn't make the changes to hits to the head it was a matter of time till someone just died. I remember how sick I felt with my sons explaining that Ryan was really badly hurt. He had high fived my youngest coming out of the tunnel at a game in KC the year before.
I thought you were a wiz with google.Did he get carted off, admitted to hospital?
Evolution and change will annoy some and bring some under the tent. I have nothing against rules that make the game safer. I think the bigger issue is that they have not balanced defense with offense. They just want more and more points. If they make a rule that makes defense more difficult it needs to be balanced with something to help defense. I don't think there is anyway this league is going anywhere but bigger.Yeah, it’s all entertainment, bread & circus.
Granted these guys do get paid a lot but still.
It’s a gladiator sport. If the new rules are what they are and ends up killing the league. So be it. I can survive without it myself
I’m for making any collision sport safer. A sport will lose fans/future participation if there happened to be a death on the field. My only complaint is the nfl is wishy washy with the flags/rules. I get they’re human and miss. But stillEvolution and change will annoy some and bring some under the tent. I have nothing against rules that make the game safer. I never had a problem with JuJu. I liked him and he loved Pittsburgh and the fans. All the young players like to dance and have fun. Who cares?!?! Good for them.I thought JuJu kinda got a bad wrap in Pittsburgh. I think he was a young guy who liked to have fun, but I dont think he did anything too harmful. He was also able to produce in a proper offense. I was sad to see him go and he was coming along nicely in KC. Hate to see most people get KOed like that. Hopefully JuJu will take at least a few weeks to recover. KC is in a good spot no need to rush back.

I know I don’t want my boys to play football. It’s different once you become a parent.
Its totally different when your kid plays. I completely agree. But these are someone's kid too. You cannot make this game safe. That is fact. And I agree the refs gets inconsistent. You know how in some sports there are commercials while the live action is on. I think they need to do that a lot more in the NFL. On any suspected hit to the head they should tablet it, bring it to the ref (No hood) he decides, no foul, foul, targeting ejection. These guys are moving very fast and refs have a very tough job.I’m for making any collision sport safer. A sport will lose fans/future participation if there happened to be a death on the field.
