The annual racing triple header on May 28.
Monaco Grand Prix in the morning. Pretty much the only F1 race worth watching.
Indy 500 in the afternoon.
NASCAR Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte in the evening. I'll be there on the roof of an RV inside Turn 4. Alcohol, cigars, and much pork and pork by-products on the smoker will be involved. :hungry: . :beers:

I want to go some year. Means I'll have to miss my uncles blowout party for memorial day though

We usually go in October too although I don't know what my job situation will be then. It's a camping situation and sleeping in an RV with a bunch of guys or in a tent outside depending how many people go. Our deal is pretty laid out though. Dining canopy, lights, flat screen mounted outside the RV, amp and tunes, every episode of South Park stored on a hard drive, neighbors with legit moonshine. Charlotte has a real nice bathhouse and they keep it clean. We're right near Darryl Waltrip's RV but I've only seen him once. Richard Petty hisself almost ran me over with a moped once.
Total cost around $300-$350 depending how many people go. We split the food and gas (32' RV uses a lot of gas), infield tix are $75, plus $125 RV fee.

How is the view from the infield? October is kind of messed up because of Steelers and Pitt. If I decide to come down next year would there be any room near you guys to pitch a tent?

View is great, especially if you go up on the roof. We can see the end of the back straight, turns 3 and 4, beginning of front straight real well, plus they have big diamond vision screens to see the rest of the track. As far as where you camp, you have to call the track and see what they have available. Everybody around us are regulars and we camp around the same people all the time.

Bristol doesn't sell out any more and you can get tickets. Several campgrounds right there and also across the road. We stay at Dave's Family Camping. Takes about 6 hours from here.

Monaco Grand Prix will be live on NBC at 8:00 am and on delay on NBC Sports at 10:30 am.

Chilling in the Charlotte infield with cigars, much pork and red meat, beer, and beer. 'Murica.

Monaco is done, watching Indy outside while jamming to Allman Brothers Greatest Hits and getting polluted on beer and cigars.

Scott Dixon lives through a nasty wreck. I thought he was dead landing on top of the fence sideways. Wow.

Yeah we saw that.

he should be dead - landed upside down on the wall, two more feet of roll and his head would have hit first

That was spectacular wreck! I cannot believe Dixon walked away from that. The race is blacked out here (like selling out all 250,000 seats plus the snake pit isn't enough $) but I'm watching by a live feed on YouTube w/iPad hooked up to the big screen. I went ten years in a row and got burned out on the crowds. The Speedway holds the entire population of Cleveland.

Boogity, boogity, boogity!!!

The folks on one side of us are from Australia and rented a motor home for a month. Touring the U.S. and going to four NASCAR races. The wifey on the other side is easy on the eyes. Older but petite with nice boobs and rocks the bikini top well.

Awesome!!!

Dillon wins of fuel mileage. It's ok but I wish Kyle bush would've won it.

Cruising home in the RV with a Rocky Patel cigar, a Mickey's Wide Mouth, and watching "Terminator - Genesis" on the flat screen.

Fun weekend. Nice.
A few post above I noticed your friends have moonshine?! Jeez loueeze! Has to be some WV appalachian people lol

Have a safe one

You jinxed me. I was walking back up front from the kitchen with a sandwich and lost my balance tripping over a cooler at the same time we went into a curve and I did a face plant in the middle of the floor.
We quote "Christmas Vacation" a lot.
