Jalen, Porter, and Highsmith practiced. I would say it was about his return possibilities over his RB abilities.
Return guy w/ more potential, at that position, than what we have on the roster.
I said it early, if we were going to trade for a WR - it would have been today; but I didn't see that happening - nor did I see this coming...

I think honestly he has been for a few weeks. I know his pass blocking is below the line and all. He still should garner a handful or more of runs per game.
This exactly. I thought Sermon was solid last week with his chances. Maybe it’s Gainwell and Blackshear. If they call Sermon up one more time he has to remain on the roster.
I am starting to see teams starting to take advantage of the kickoff by placing the ball near the coffin corner and forcing specific returns. I think they just want someone experienced to handle these plays
a lot of the pro nfl stuff baffles me.. How do you not know how to run a route.. ? We cant trust Roman wilson to run his routes?
How do we not know how to block and pick up blitzes ? We cant trust johnson to do this yet? Wtf is happening?
I understand there are severe nuances to playing Nose ,,, youre taking on 3 blockers and expected to hold your ground...
But sometimes the explanations for why certain players cant accomplish what is expected for a certain play ,, thats just crazy... youre paid to do it,, Yes the other team is getting paid too,, but to me this isnt that hard.

He may have return ability but who are you going to take off the 53 to make room for a returner. You are not going to carry four backs. Jaylen, Gainwell and you are not putting rookie on Waivers. He will get snapped up for sure.
Whatever they did to bring Trey Sermon up - that's how Blackshear gets a hat IMO...
Sermon was far more serviceable at KR than Johnson; but Blackshear is a proven commodity (kinda like when we signed the ex-Raven KR years ago).
