Not to be a downer, but I’m a little envious that the Ravens got 2 new perennial starters tonight and we got someone who may not start for us…

The Steelers weren't going anywhere until they found their next QB and they believe Pickett is that guy. If he develops into the QB they think he can be it'll be better than the Ravens getting both Hamilton and Linderbaum.

With that said, an outstanding draft for the Ravens so far, plus they got rid of Hollywood Brown in the process.

What's their WR room look like now though? Not that it really matters since they don't use them. lol

The Ratbirds have made their offense one dimensional tonight......BRILLIANT! Lamar Jackson won't make it past Week 8 if they don't get him some WR's.

So go ahead and make a move for Deebo Samuel.....he will want $30 Mil per season at a minimum some reports say he wants upwards of $35-40 Mil per season. Yeah good luck with that!

Linderbaum is undersized. Draft a stud DE and put the fear of God in Lamar Jackson's ***

Add in he doesn’t want to be a RB, just a WR. And without his RB ability I don’t think he’s a top tier WR.

they had a good night

but they are still a qb away from being consistent and who the hell is going to play WR?

Tack on what Action Jackson will want and they are ******.

Missed out on Davis and picked a slow safety who's no Minkah Fitzpatrick, traded their top receiver and didn't replace him, used the pick for a small center instead who was likely falling to the 2nd round. Still have lots of work to do to fix the O'line. Hardly a solid 1st round for them, maybe not the worst but a disappointment, especially missing out on Davis, a potential generational talent at a position of need who was expected to fall into their laps. Had they landed Davis then you could say their draft was outstanding.

Feel the same way. Not enthralled with their first round picks.

Hamilton is a safe pick but I see him as a decent Safety. If he would have dropped to 20 I would have preferred Daxton Hill or Lewis Cine.

As far as Linderbaum, not who I would have taken there. He's a good center.

Hamilton's fall seems based on a bad 40 time. I think some guys play much faster than their 40 times while other guys their blazing 40 times do not translate to game speed. I think Hamilton will be a good player. The center maybe good to, but I don't think those 2 will put the ravens over the top. I would be more worried about no WRs and a disgruntled QB. Tweeting "wtf" after a pick is not a good look especially for a guy who will help protect you.

Dang, if the Rats can get a 1st for Brown, we should be or should have been able to get the same for DJ. Some teams paid through the nose this year for WR's (stupidly) and many took the top WR's early in this draft (smart). WR's are not worth $25-30 million. The top WR's should be around $20 million. But, it is what it is now.

Hamilton = Kenny Vaccaro II. The center's not great but ok, may struggle with size at least initially and needs to beef up.

Notre Dame homer here...

I never saw or understood the hoopla around Hamilton.

I believe he is average at best in coverage and will be something that the Ravens will need to gameplan for..
Very good to excellent against the run...but a liability in coverage..

He certainly aint no Reed..

His Tweet last night when the Rats traded Hollywood Brown was any indication he's not happy with the Rats Front Office. I can't blame him.

His tweet wasn't about the pick, it was about trading away Brown. Their WR is full of "who?!"

really? because just about every single report i've read about him is that his instincts and anticipation are second to none, that his anticipation of the play is, in fact, the strongest part of his game, similar to an ed reed type.
