This thread won't be flooded like some of the others. But I hope all appreciate the sacrifices my fellow soldiers made to make it so we are free to move around the country and make day to day choices. Go talk to the East Germans how appreciative they all are to have their freedom. Regardless if people like what the people at the top do on a day to day basis, it is irrelevant to those soldiers that fought with a purpose and paid ultimately with their life.

I first off thank God what he has provided, and today I am thankful to those who gave their life in pursuit of freedom. Let freedom ring.

It amazes me how many people today don’t grasp how fragile our freedom is. Those that gave thier life knew, and demonstrated through thier ultimate sacrifice how deeply they cherished it.
