On Wednesday afternoon news broke that the Pittsburgh Steelers were interested in trading for under performing former second round pick Denzel Mims. It was believed that the Steelers were targeting Mims due to his ability to stretch the field when given the opportunity.

I really don't know if this guy would be the 5th best receiver on the roster. I mean CA3 can't be annointed we have not seen him play but still.just a big nothing burger of a story
Me tooGOOD read and gives the details.
I’m glad we didn’t trade by burning up future draft picks. Our WR room is to deep to risk weather a “maybe” might make the3 roster while burning picks to find out.
Another showing of a great GM and cronies making the right decision.
Salute the nation
That significantly changes the nature of the deal. A 6th for a 7th for a roster guy isn't bad. But let's remember if all things are equal a team is always trading out of conference. Now Detroit could theoretically win the NFC north and maybe get a lower pick but I wouldn't count that as a sure thing. Truth is there will be four or five guys like this released if they are unhappy with wr 5 or there is an injury.Even better deal for the Lions now, as it is reported the trade is contingent on Mims making their final 53.
How do you have 86 receptions without a touchdown?Averaged 16 yards per catch for his career...ZERO TD'S
How does that even happen?

What is the fascination with this guy? He's got 42 catches in 30 NFL games without a score. Oh no...the Steelers let him get away to the Lions!
Who gives a shlt?
Maybe they were looking to bring an underperforming offense player in to translate the game plan for the real NFL guys on the roster trying desperately to comprehend the underperforming offensive brain trust’s game plan
You know a guy who “speaks crayon”
I cant wait till someone trades a boatload of draft picks for the right to eat Aaron Donald’s giant contract and people are crying because it wasn’t the Steelers.. lol
