RIP Tunch

Rest in Peace, Tunch. You brought so much knowledge, excitement, enthusiasm and love of the game into our lives for so many years.

You made me so proud to be a Steelers fan, you represented the very best of this franchise and organization.

My prayers to your family, your friends, teammates and all those whose lives you undoubtedly touched. You will be missed around these parts. Your memory will remain with us forever.

Such a sad day.

Man that progressed quickly. I am pretty sure my friend had that and she passed a while back. Just a nasty disease. Very sad news... RIP Tunch thank you for everything.

It sure did, He was slurring his words on his radio show and seemed to be getting worse.
So sad to hear I had been praying for him everyday

Very sad to read that this cruel disease has robbed us of Tunch so quickly. Bittersweet, for as sad as it is to have to say goodbye to such a wonderful person, I'm grateful he no longer must suffer at the mercy of such a debilitating sickness; he's free to bask in the glory of our Lord in Heaven, now and forever.

My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, kids, all his family and friends and anybody who was lucky enough to be a part of his life

Prayers for the repose of Tunch's soul and condolences to his family. Didn't know him as a player, loved him as a broadcasrer. ALS is no way to live especially for a physical person like Tunch. Watching the last years of my parents lives made me understand death can be a sweet release.

Sorry to hear that. One of the most knowledgeable football broadcasters ever.

Really sorry to hear this news but his suffering is over. What an awesome Steeler and local hero and definitely gone way too soon.

I'll miss listening to him and Wolf carry on, they made even bad games fun to listen to. RIP Tunch...
