Professional sports greatest rivalry adds a new chapter today as Ravens come to town with arguably the league's top QB. Baltimore is averaging almost 32 points a game while Pittsburgh has given up average 16 (20 per game since Wilson took the helm.)

Advantage Pittsburgh

The elephant in the room is Baltimore pass defense - they can't cover a wet spot. Russell Wilson is among the league's best at manipulating secondary and dropping the deep ball into a bucket. He going to have a big day today.

Advantage Pittsburgh

Baltimore has a beast in the backfield averaging 6 YPA and more than a TD per game. Derrick Henry is a force particularly in 4th quarter when he seems impossible to tackle. Steelers allow less than 100 yards per game at home. Something has to give. Pittsburgh can't allow the Ravens the luxury of a late game lead or they'll be subjected to a heavy dose of the Henry Hammer in the 4th Q.

Pittsburgh has an underrated tandem - Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren hold it down with Cordarrelle Patterson getting minimal snaps, almost an afterthought. I choose Patterson to make a big play today.

Advantage TBD

George Pickens - what can you say about a guy who is 6'3", always where he is supposed to be and catches everything? Baltimore has one shutdown corner and if he follows GP around, Wilson will find the open man. To note: Queen is now in black & gold so the middle of the field is one big soft spot. Ravens best player is coming off an ankle injury. The stage is set for a big day from Wilson and his receivers.

Advantage Pittsburgh

Baltimore pass rush is average at best. Is this why their pass defense is hot garbage? Pittsburgh future HoF and perennial MVP candidate needs no introduction. We'll see if this early game Ravens miscues along the O line lead to an all you can eat for TJ Watt

Advantage Pittsburgh

Justin Tucker changed the league with his big leg and accuracy. He's also missed 4 FG (3 from 50+) and an XP last week. It was the first XP he's missed in 12+ seasons. Meanwhile, Chris Boswell is enjoying a career year in the league's most difficult place to kick.

Advantage Pittsburgh

Terrible Towel. Enough said.

Advantage Pittsburgh

Head Coaches

Mike Tomlin has been a premier NFL head coach for many years. He knows how to prepare a team to win football games.

John Harbaugh is supremely annoying but also one of the best HC in the pros.

No Advantage

It looks like the 13-10 nailbiters of recent memory are just a memory. Let's see if that changes today. The winner controls the division so you know we'll see some old school football today.
