I would have supported Willis Similar. Pickett is a Steeler. He is our guy.

I said the same thing. Not thrilled with the Picket selection. But at least it ain't Willis. I would've waited to selected either Ridder, Corral, or Howell later but if we had to take QB in the first im glad its Picket and not Willis.
Embarrassing.
Oh Bermuda is NOT happy w/ this pick at all. We have 3 QB's that are all mediocre...

-Can make all the throws
-Good mobility to extend plays, scramble
-Tremendous work ethic
-Leader
-Very good accuracy last season, 42:7 TD:INT ratio
Negatives:
-Happy feet, runs self into pressure
-Depends on rolling out
-Decent, not great arm strength
-Lackluster production first three years
-Doesn't always throw receivers open
-Experience in pro style system

Feel the same way.if winning championships is your goal Pickett is not the answer. If being mediocre and middle of the pack we got our guy. He is not as good or athletic as Trubisky and next year's QB class is much better. We panicked and picked a QB in the worst QB class in years. Oh well hope Pickett proves us all wrong.
I guess we don’t have to guess what QB they had at the top of their board.
