OK, I've watched like the rest of you guys but damn, what happened to our run defense? We are too soft in the middle, from the nose guard, inside linebackers, and strong safety standpoint. Bush, Schobert, and Edmunds have yet to lay the smack down on an opposing running back all season! We need a snot knocker in the middle to set the tone throughout the game. Not sure if those guys will be around next season. Cook gashed us tonight, 200 plus yards....wtf??? Maybe we need to get back to obtaining true inside linebackers along with strong safeties that can hit instead of these new breed "hybrid" type players. This isht is hard to watch week after week. Go Steelers!!!!

Teams that have a run game are gashing us hard in the 1st half and will continue to do so until we stop it. Our coaching has no clue how to implement a D. Changes need to happen going into the game and then on the fly. What is plan B and plan C and maybe plan D? You can't wait until halftime to make adjustments or you'll be down by 23 or more like we have been recently.

Yep. The lack of adjustments real-time is mind boggling. Tomlin has been a HC how long? Butler has been coaching how long. Oh well. It is what it is.

I ended up falling asleep after it got to 29-0. I find it hard to believe our players are that much worse than the rest of the league along the lines which leads me to coaching. To me it seemed like our D was spread flatly across the line. Once Cook got past the line there was no second level of defense. I would move the LBs back a bit give them a bit more time to read the play instead of getting instantly washed at the line When a team is going run heavy guys like Watt need to be more focused on the run instead of worrying about getting to the QB.
