What's everyone thinking our final record will be coming out of that?

The Panthers, Saints and Chargers are looking spectacular at the moment and will be very tough games. (1-2)
@ Jax, @ Den, Pats and Cinci are winnable but no cakewalk (2-2)
@ Raiders - we all know how we love to play down to scrub teams (1-0)

Puts us 9-7-1. Is that enough to win the division? Or are you guys more positive about how we'll do down the stretch?

10-5-1 wins the division IMO, that forces Cincy to finish 11-5, I don't see them finishing at 11-5

The way I see it, we have four tough games left, and one divisional game last, which could be tough if Cincinnati needs to win it to make the playoffs.

If we split the tough games ( 2-2 ) and win three of remaining four vs mostly bad teams, we are going to finish up 10-5-1. Good enough to win the division and make the playoffs.

The problem is, we will likely need to go on the road to advance to the super bowl vs. New England and Kansas City. We all know cool shades record in the playoffs, so I would not assume a wild card win at home vs the #5 or #6 seed. A passing team like the Chargers would not be an easy out.

The coaching staff needs to stop making easy mistakes ( Like keeping Williams and Bostic in coverage ) when the other team is behind and going to pass, and develop Edmunds and Burnett to become more aware of where the ball is on passing downs. Maybe we should keep giving Hunter a try, as he's the deep speed guy with size. Also, screw Bell unless Conner is hurt, we don't need that distraction

Well its really tough, so im guessing we will lose to the cheats cause thats what Tomlin teams do... and lose to the Raiders, cause they are the only cupcake left and again, that is what Tomlin teams do ... lol

You need to see an ophthalmologist - cuz' the way you see things are skewed...

I see them losing two of those games. Possibly Carolina this week and one to the Cheats and/or the Saints. Jags seem to be a shadow of the team from last year and I just don't see them losing to the Chargers here.

I don't know about the rest of the schedule but it would be big to be 1-0 after Thursday night and sitting at 6-2-1 and on a mini-bye week to rest and recover for the final 7 regular season games.

I gave up trying to figure these guys out. I want the jagoff win and the pats***** win. I'd love blowouts, but I'll take the W.

That is a tough second half schedule....38-28 combined record of opponents...Take out the Raiders 1-7 and it is 37-21....

5-3 would be awesome.....Only 1 divisional game left

I'm thinking 10-5-1. If we end up 9-6-1, that would have to come with a win against the Bungles to have a chance to win the division. Even at 10-5-1, we may have to beat them to win the division.

Nah, you just don't like reading what I see. We do have four tough games left based on the current records of the teams.

Also, We are likely on the road vs Kansas City ( They have the head to head tie breaker and a better record ) and unless we beat New England in the regular season, we are likely on the road vs them in the playoffs too.

I see 8 more victims. Steelers just beat a team 2 years removed from the superbowl, the division leading Bengals, and rival Ravens. Who would have seen that when we were 1-1-1?

This team is just starting to put it together. Offense is utilizing personnel groupings to the advantage of the matchups the other team has on D. Remember when we couldn't run the ball the first game with 2TE and a FB? Well we just kicked their *** on the ground in 11 sets (one RB one TE). That is how you know coaching is improving. Fichner is a real OC, and I'm glad we have him.

D is also improving. Give Burnett a few more games to get up to speed, and he'll make plays as well. Hilton is a monster and the front 7 is getting pressure.

Punt game is improving, return game is improving. Coverage teams are sliding a bit, and Boz needs to start making his freakin kicks! 4XPs missed? Just freakin go for 2 every time. Better odds!

We play 17 games this season?

One game at a time

Yeah, two games at a time will kill you every time. On a serious note, I see us dropping games to the Panthers, Patriots, and Saints and probably at least one of the other teams - just not sure which one. At the beginning of the season I figured 9 - 7 and that would make us 9-6-1. Might be enough to win the division but we aren't going anywhere this post season with the Patriots and Kansas City in the way. I think we could beat Alabama for the National championship though.

9-6-1 could win our division. I see at least 5 very loseable games on the Bengal remaining schedule: Saints, @chargers, @ravens, @Steelers, & Denver. They barely beat Tampa at home. I would not be surprised if they were 8-8 or 9-7.

im with ya till Denver they suck. defense is on, but the O is terrible. Do we want balt or cinci to win? im leaning towards balt cause they have the worse record

Good to see the optimism. Let's see which version of the Panthers turns up on Thursday.
