We're going to find out real quick what we have in Davis. If he was brought in to shadow larger receivers (more like TEs) then he will probably be effective. I'd like to see him play safety but I believe he may be our answer to those TEs who have been kicked our *** all over the field for years now.

I think if Davis is put on man with a shifty slot receiver we are in trouble unless we have him come up and bump the guy right away. Yes, a Cole Beasley is going to be quicker than Davis and will catch those little slant and curl routes all day long unless the 6-1 203lbs DB jams them at the line and puts that little 5-8 175lbs guy on his butt or at least knock him off his route. But as a safety I can see Davis really flourishing. He's big, fast, strong and not afraid to hit.
